WOU Wolves Baseball Camps

WOU Baseball Camps are located in beautiful Monmouth, Oregon. Camps take place at WOU Ballpark which is a beautiful collegiate stadium in western Oregon.

 

Our goal is to help develop the skills of all players and have fun at the same time. Emphasis is placed on the basic skills and techniques associated with the game of baseball. All players will be placed in groups based on age and individual ability.

Description

Tune up your skills for the upcoming spring season while showcasing your skills for WOU coaches. This camp is broken up into two-hour, skill-specific segments. Each day will include two hours of infield/catching instruction, pitching instruction and hitting instruction. Those attending can pick the sections they would like to attend.

 

All camps have limited enrollment. Reserve your spot early!

 

February 23 & 24 

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m: Pitching

12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m: Hitting

2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m: Defense

 

 

Cost: $100.00 Per Section - $250.00 For All Three Sections .....  Cost Includes Both Days Of Desired Section.

 

COACH KELLEN WALKER

In his fifth year as the head coach of the Wolves, Walker led the program to another 30+ win season and post-season berth. Walker has been a member of the Wolves program for 12 seasons, and during that time WOU has won 10 conference championship titles and made eight post season appearances.

 

Equipment 
Each player must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

 

Check-in

Check-in will begin 30 minutes prior to camp start time

 

Waiver Information

Each camper attending the WOU Wolves Baseball Camp must be covered by his or her parents' insurance. Any and all medical expenses resulting from injury or illness will be the responsibility of the camper's private insurance company.  Download Waiver

Camps will be in Western Oregon Baseballs indoor facility, located in the New P.E. building

 

Meals

Lunch will NOT be provided. Please bring lunch from home. Water will be available to all campers.

 

Accommodations

This is day camp only. No overnight option available.

  

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp? 
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

 

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
