Camp Description

 

The University of Washington Huskie Baseball Staff and America's Baseball Camps are teaming up to present the Diamond Dawgs Pro Hitting Camp.

Join the Coaches from the Pac 12 Conference powerhouse Washington Huskies along with a talented group Professional Instructors striving to advance your knowledge and skill in the art of hitting.

Note: America's Baseball Camps welcomes all parents and family members to attend, observe, follow player to stations, take notes, ask questions, video tape as well as take pictures. Please feel free to enjoy the experience along with your player.

Our staff of former and current professional players, coaches and scouts are extremely experienced and have one common goal: to provide you with the tools necessary to produce a more effective and efficient swing.

Optional
Players will be evaluated personally with Video Analysis software and have the chance to have there swing broken down by a Professional Instructor. Professional Instructors will provide an evaluation of feedback, changes and recommend drills to help fix or improve your swing.

General Information

 

Players will be separated into training groups by age. They will rotate through numerous stations designed to improve all aspects of the offensive part of the game of baseball.

Staff
Instructors will be comprised of a variety of current and or former professional players, college coaches and professional scouts.

Players Receive
4 hours of elite, professional instruction
Drill work for the development of a more effecient and effective swing
Opportunity to meet and learn from former professional players
Mid-camp snack
Camp T-shirt

Here is what you can expect to work on while at camp:
Foundation and Balance
Mental preparation and Hitting Philosophy
Hand-eye coordination
Proper weight transfer
Opposite field hitting
Hitting with two strikes
Swing Plane
Off speed pitch hitting
Hitting stations including Soft toss, live, tee work, hitting disk and more
Situational hitting including bunting

What to bring
Players should bring Baseball Pants or Athletic Clothing, Baseball Bat, Batting gloves, Baseball cap, Baseball glove, Helmet if you have one, Water Bottle and any additional items that you feel necessary to compete with.

In its 14 years of existence ABC has grown from a 10 location, day camp Company to one of the largest baseball instruction company's in the world. ABC now has over 400 locations in 29 states and 4 countries' and is continuing to grow each year. From 200 player overnight, weeklong camps in or near major cities around the country to weekend day camps and coaches clinics in small rural towns, we do it all.
