The 2013 "Become a Torero" camp is a once in a lifetime experience. The University of San Diego offers players the opportunity to receive quality instruction from exceptional and experienced baseball coaches. The University of San Diego Coaching Staff has designed and implemented a camp format to attract baseball talent to our campus.
Our goal is for you to experience first-hand how we teach, practice, and play the game here at USD. At the same time, it offers our entire coaching staff the ability to instruct players in a competitive and challenging environment.
Note: Walk up registrations will not be accepted for camps that are sold out. Players are guaranteed to play their primary position. The USD coaching staff will do their best to provide players the opportunity for playing time at their secondary position as well.
This camp is limited to players, allowing the camp to run with the same structure that we run the USD baseball program. This experience gives you the unique opportunity to wear a Torero uniform, utilize the locker room and clubhouse facilities, be instructed by and showcase your ability in individual and game play in front of the USD coaching staff.
*3 days of elite professional instruction by USD coaches
*Campers will receive a USD Game Hat, Dri-Fit Nike Shirt, and Dri-Fit Nike Shorts
*Camp consists of 3 games per camper, a pro style workout, drills, and instruction
*Campers will receive a lunch and post-game meal on both Friday and Saturday
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark camper's names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.
It is also recommended that campers bring a notepad and pen/pencil to all classroom instruction periods.

Torero Baseball Camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants, in accordance with the NCAA camps and clinics legislation (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Camp check-in takes place at 8:00 am Friday at the entrance to Fowler Park. Subsequent days, check-in will take place 30 minutes prior to the start of the day.

A lunch and post-game meal will be provided to campers on both Friday and Saturday. We will be providing Jersey Mikes for lunch and Chik-Fil-A for post game meal. For food allergies or dietary choices (ie-vegetarians) please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 619.260.7486
This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations. For out of town campers/parents who wish to stay near the USD campus, please contact:

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel.
