Andy Lopez High School Prospect Camps are for high school ball players, freshman - seniors.
The camp is conducted like a showcase. Each player will go through skills testing (60 yard dash, infield velocity, outfield velocity) and hit batting practice in front of the coaches/scouts on hand. Each player will showcase their ability defensively and offensively in front of the Arizona coaching staff and representatives from select schools and MLB organizations.
Campers will participate in live games for the remained of the camp, allowing them to showcase their ability in a live game setting. A MLB scout or college coach will coach each team; after the camp players will receive an evaluation from their respective camp coach.
Beginning in 2012, Hi Corbett Field became the new home of Arizona baseball. Located approximately two miles southeast of the University of Arizona campus, Hi Corbett Field is the former Spring Training home of the Colorado Rockies and offers Major League-caliber amenities to the UA baseball program.
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, practice or game uniform/baseball pants for games
and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.
Andy Lopez camps are open to any and all individuals. All camps are open to the public and all players are welcome to attend that are within ages of the advertised camp.
Andy Lopez camps are not an official function of the University of Arizona.

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be provided during camp. There will be a First Aid Responder on staff for any illnesses or injuries.
