Jay Johnson Baseball Camps

Below you’ll find our school’s Division I college baseball camps, prospect camps, instructional camps and clinics. Visit us in beautiful Tucson, Arizona for a baseball camp or prospect event and show us your skills!

Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Our baseball camps and prospect events in Arizona are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at the University of Arizona.

Description

Join Head Coach Jay Johnson and his entire coaching staff as they instruct the finer points of the game of baseball.

 

Times
December 15th from 2:00pm-8:00pm
December 16th from 8:00am-2:00pm

 

Saturday will consist of evaluations and instruction.
Sunday will be games and instruction.

 

Facilities

Equipment
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, practice or game uniform/baseball pants for games and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.

 

Jay Johnson Baseball Academy camps are open to any and all individuals. All camps are open to the public and all players are welcome to attend that are within ages of the advertised camp. Jay Johnson Baseball Academy camps are not an official function of the University of Arizona.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Miscellaneous Information

Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be provided during camp. In the event of an emergency the EMS will be called. 

 

Refund Policy: We do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration. If you choose not to purchase Cancellation Protection, we offer you a camp credit for the full payment to be used at a future camp. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit is also transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp. If campers choose to not use the full payment as credit toward a future camp, they will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee.

OPEN EVENT IN NEW WINDOW

Description

In this camp each team will play 4 games guaranteed over Friday. Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  January 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st. Each game will be evaluated by the University of Arizona coaching staff. It's a great chance to get some exposure to college coaches as well as get some quality instruction. The camp will also feature instruction each day on all aspects of the game.  Teams can start games on Friday OR Saturday
