2014 Lobo Pre-season Team Baseball Camp (Individual Player Registration)

Lobo Baseball is going to host its fourth annual Pre-Season Team Camp on January 18th & 19th 2014.
This year's event will be held at Lobo Field and Cleveland High School. The team camp will allow your team to practice and play against outside competition one week prior to the first official day of practice. This will also give your student-athletes a chance to be seen, coached, and recruited by the UNM Staff.
Our staff has looked into the rules and regulations, and the Lobo Pre-Season Camp meets the guidelines set forth by the NMAA. As a coach, you cannot make the camp mandatory for the student-athlete, nor can it be paid for by a coach or booster club. In addition, the team can only be coached by UNM Staff.
The camp will take the first fifteen (15) complete teams. However, there is a chance for a student-athlete to participate individually. We will be taking a specific number of players per position until a 16th team is filled. The 16th team will be comprised of individual players from various high schools.
The camp will be conducted in a Round Robin format. Each team will play two doubleheaders, playing each team once. Every team and game will be coached and controlled by the UNM Staff. We will be monitoring the outs, number of hitters, pitch counts per inning and game, and base paths. Each game will be 6-7 innings or 1 hour and 45 minutes. Each game will also include two umpires.
We had 14 teams participate in last years camp and believe this will be a huge success for everyone involved like last year. The cost of the camp is $100 per individual player.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

This is not an "overnight" Clinic. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information
All campers are responsible for their own transportation to/from camp each day for this commuter camp.
A camp store with UNM baseball merchandise will be available at Lobo Field each camp day.
What if I have to cancel a Camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
