Little Tar Heel Camps teach the basic fundamentals of the game each day.
Games are played the second half of each day emphasizing the skills taught earlier in camp. Campers are broken up into a team for the week based on AGE (not ability level), and remain with their team and coach the entire week.
On Thursday, a slip-n-slide will be used to demonstrate the proper technique to slide (Campers must bring their own bathing suit or alternate clothes to wear or change into on Thursday).
Games are played against teams with campers close in age. Parents may choose to move their camper up or down and age group depending on skill level. Please select the next grade level up or down (if you wish to do so) during registration.
Camp begins at 9:00am and ends at 4:00pm Monday-Thursday. Campers may be dropped off at 8:30am and picked up at 4:00pm Monday-Thursday.
Little Tar Heel Camps are held at Boshamer Stadium. Tuition includes all instruction, excess medical insurance and camp T-shirt. Tuition does not include lunch (campers bring their own each morning) or travel to and from camp.
Little Tar Heel Camps are not overnight camps. Only 120 campers per camp.

Estimated Daily Schedule (9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily)::
8:30 - Registration begins (only on the first day)
09:00 - Campers arrive
09:30 - Stretch, throw and get loose
10:00 - Instruction at individual stations & positions
12:00 - Lunch (not provided)
12:25 - Resume Instruction at stations
02:00 - Begin Game Stations
04:00 - Camp conclusion
*Note: Stations are routinely inside to prevent heat exhaustion. Water breaks take place every hour.
Carolina Baseball Camps are held at Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium, which is located in the heart of UNC's campus.
Camper to Staff Ratio:
We make every effort to have an excellent counselor to camper ratio of 8:1. This ensures quality instruction and individual attention. Little Tar Heel Camps are limited to only 120 players per camp. Coaches include the UNC coaching staff, various college, high school, and former/current UNC players.
As required, we have a certified NATA trainer at our camp to attend to the medical needs of the campers.
Each camper must bring his/her own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. There will be limited supplies of bats and gloves that can be provided upon request. UNC Baseball camps requests each camper place his name and phone number on all equipment and items including shoes and clothing.
In case of inclement weather, Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium is equipped with an indoor practice facility that includes three 80-foot batting cages and regulation clay pitching mounds. Camp will begin regardless of inclement weather.
In the event of injury or illness while at camp, your son will be taken to the UNC Hospital located within a mile of Boshamer Stadium. Insurance information provided on the medical for MUST be accurate. All campers must have their own medical insurance. Carolina Baseball Camps, Inc. provides excess coverage after your insurance policy has been utilized. Campers will not be allowed to play unless the information is submitted and the form is signed by the parent or guardian of the camper.
Carolina Baseball Camps are privately owned and operated and not affiliated with the University of North Carolina. All of UNC baseball camps are committed to following and abiding by all NCAA rules, policies and regulations. All Carolina Baseball Camps or clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender)
Camp Waiver Information
Please bring your completed medical form and waiver with you on the day of camp. The medical form DOES NOT have to be completed by your physician. Campers WILL NOT be permitted to participate without a completed medical form and waiver. Please bring these forms with you to check-in. DO NOT mail, email, or fax this form back to us.

UNC Baseball Camps have an open-door policy regarding watching your son practice and play while at camp. Should you want to arrange an official tour of campus, you will need to contact the Admissions Office at (919) 966-3621. Camps are not permitted to take campers on campus tours due to NCAA restrictions. Visitors must make their own arrangements for parking as it may not be permitted on the day of camp. Parents may park in the Rams Head Parking deck anytime, which is located just down the hill on Ridge Road.
Refund Policy / Cancellation Protection:
We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 7 days prior to the start of camp. If you cancel within 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Outside of our Cancellation Protection policy, there are NO REFUNDS for any reason.
