University of Missouri Baseball Camps

University of Missouri Baseball Camps in beautiful Columbia, Missouri are dedicated to providing a baseball camp that is both instructional and information along with creating a great atmosphere to learn!

The coaching staff here at the University of Missouri prides itself on teaching the game of baseball to players of all ages and ability levels. All camps are taught by our coaching staff and players. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our camps are used with our college players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.

Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Tiger Winter Development Baseball Camp

Description

This one day winter development camp at Mizzou is designed for any serious baseball player to improve and develop skills in the game of baseball. More in depth instruction on fundamentals, drills, and skills, and techniques needed to advance to the next level. Skills will be taught in all positions including infield, outfield, catching and pitching. Each defensive specialty position, including pitching, will include hitting instruction as well. Campers will be separated into groups based on age/experience.

 

All campers will be provided a University of Missouri baseball t- shirt.

 

Camp is limited to 150 athletes grades 8th-Current JC Players

Quality Baseball Instruction

Hitting & Defensive Drills

Throwing & Pitching Mechanics

 

Items to bring:

Bat, batting gloves, glove

Baseball pants & hat

Cleats

Non-cleated tennis shoes or baseball turf shoes

Catchers should bring their own gear

Please label all personal items

Not responsible for lost or stolen items

Lunch (It will not be provided)

 

Staff
The entire Mizzou Coaching staff as well as former players playing professional baseball.

 

Equipment Needed 
Baseball practice clothes, shoes, and glove. The camp will provide all team equipment. Players should have and are responsible for having identification on all personal items such as hats, gloves, & bats.

 

"An MU Booster may not pay for a prospect to attend any MU camp or clinic unless he/she is a parent, legal guardian or immediate family member of the prospect"
*The camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender).*

 

Check-in

Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. in the Lobby of the McArtor Facility, down the 3rd base line concourse, or in Devine Pavilion (depending on weather).

 

Waiver Information

Medical forms will be attached to your e-mailed receipt and are available on-line. Please "print" fill out and bring to camp.

Experienced trainers are available at all times. Each camper is covered by health and accident insurance during camp hours. Insurance coverage is secondary to primary insurance.

What if I have to cancel a camp? 

Refunds will be made for medical reasons only. Request for funds must be accompanied by a signature notice by the applicants physician. Campers who must leave during camp due to illness or injury will receive a prorated refund based on the number of days of participation. No refunds will be given to campers who voluntarily leave camp or who are sent home for disciplinary reasons.

This one day winter baseball experience will provide high-quality instruction that covers every aspect of the game. Campers will enjoy various drills and high-quality instruction throughout the day with Mizzou Coaching staff as well as former players playing professional baseball on-site for camp. Camp is designed to teach basic techniques as well as reinforce fundamentals and provides instruction for advanced players. Campers will be separated into groups based on age/experience.

 

All campers will be provided a University of Missouri baseball t-shirt.
