University of Missouri Baseball Camps

University of Missouri Baseball Camps in beautiful Columbia, Missouri are dedicated to providing a baseball camp that is both instructional and information along with creating a great atmosphere to learn!

The coaching staff here at the University of Missouri prides itself on teaching the game of baseball to players of all ages and ability levels. All camps are taught by our coaching staff and players. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our camps are used with our college players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.

Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Description

This camp is designed for parents who are looking for ways to bring baseball practice home! We will provide drills and teaching fundamentals for parents to do with their aspiring young players in their own backyards or driveways. You do not need a baseball field to become a better baseball player, and we intend to outfit players as well as parents alike with fun and simple drills to help better their baseball talents at home. This is an all-skills camp that will be coached by players' age.

 

Ages/Times:

Ages 8-20 ... 9:00am-4:00pm

Players will be broken up into instruction groups according to age

 

Cost:

$200.00 per Father/Son; $75.00 extra per child

 

Staff:

The Mizzou Baseball coaching staff and current Tiger players.

 

Equipment Needed:

Please bring all equipment you would use for a regular practice or game including glove, spikes, bat, helmet, & baseball pants (white is preferred if you have them). Catchers please bring your gear as well.

Parents:

We are inviting and encouraging you to stay for as much of the camp as you would like. For your safety, we request that once the on-field instruction portion of the camp starts all families remain in the general admission seating areas of Taylor Stadium.

 

"An MU Booster may not pay for a prospect to attend any MU camp or clinic unless he/she is a parent, legal guardian or immediate family member of the prospect"

The camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender)*

 

Check-in

Registration begins 30 minutes prior to start time in the lobby of the McArtor Baseball facility down the third base line at Taylor Stadium. 

 

Waiver Information

Medical forms will be attached to your e-mailed receipt and are available on-line.  Please print, complete and provide when you arrive at camp. Certified athletic trainers are available at all times. Each camper is covered by health and accident insurance during camp hours. Insurance coverage is secondary to primary insurance.

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp? 

We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

Description

The most elite overnight camp offered to high school players by the University of Missouri Baseball Program. Players will learn what it's like to be a Missouri Tiger for 3 days while receiving instruction on how to take advantage of the off season and be in the best position possible for success when spring starts.

 

Players will have access to all Mizzou baseball facilities as well as learn mechanics, philosophy, conditioning, approach, with analysis of individual skills, along with game situations and team strategy.

 

Date/Times:

December 28th ... 9:00am - 5:00pm

December 29th ... 9:00am - 3:00pm

 

Cost:

$300 per player

 

Ages:

9th grade - JUCO

Staff:

Mizzou Baseball coaching staff and current Tiger players.
