Rob Vaughn Baseball Camps

Each one of Rob Vaughn Baseball Camps will aid in further development of individual skills through instruction, position specific drills and games as well as interaction with players in a great on campus camp setting. Campers will work hard, but have fun!

We want to see the best players in the country on campus at the University of Maryland! A majority of the staff consists of former Maryland players, who share our goals to teach the game of baseball.

We definitely have the type of baseball camps that will fit your needs and prepare you for a better baseball experience in the years to come. I am looking forward to seeing you at our summer or winter camps!

Terps Fall Prospect Camp

Grades: 8-12 | Starts: 8:00am / Ends: 4:00pm



This one day camp will open to any and all boys grades 8-12 and will provide an opportunity for players to develop and showcase their skills through hands on instruction, a variety of drills, and live game situations.




$150.00 per player


8:00am (Check in) - 4:00pm (Departure)


Below is a brief overview of how the camp will be broken down:
Warm-up / Preparation

Position Specific Skill Work

4-on-4 (Position Players) / Pitching Breakdown (Pitchers)

Game 1 (Teams 1 and 2) / Campus Tour and Presentation (Teams 3 and 4)

Game 2 (Teams 3 and 4) / Campus Tour and Presentation (Teams 1 and 2)


Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, helmet, bat, batting gloves and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark camper's names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.


All Rob Vaughn Baseball Camps will be held at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium located on the University of Maryland, College Park campus. Additional indoor facilities may be used on campus (if available) in the case of inclement weather.


A member of the University of Maryland athletic training staff will be present at each camp session. The medical waiver form below must be completed and brought to check in along with a photocopy of your medical insurance card.

Camp will be conducted at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium. Next to Byrd Stadium (football) and directly behind Stamp Student Union.


Parking Information

All parents must observe UMD DOTS parking regulations during the week. On the weekends Lot 1/ Lot Z are free and located behind the suites of football. Rob Vaughn Baseball Camps is not responsible for any parking tickets.



Lunch WILL NOT be provided during camps. Water will be provided, but if players prefer sports drinks, they are encouraged to bring their own. Concessions will not be open, so make sure to pack accordingly.


Miscellaneous Information

Refund/Cancellation Policy: Rob Vaughn Baseball Camps, LLC does not offer refunds of any kind. However, if you are unable to attend a camp that you have registered for, a credit can be applied to the cost of a future camp.
