The Summer Slam Youth Day Baseball Camp is designed to provide the camper with a fun-filled and enjoyable experience while learning the proper fundamentals of the game of baseball. A full day of baseball will be broken up with a lunch in the UMBC Dining Hall followed by a Rec Activity in the Retriever Activity Center. To maximize the campers experience there is a limit of 70 campers per session. The camp has sold out the last 2 years. If you are seriously interested in attending the camp, early registration is encouraged.
Typical Daily Schedule

Equipment: Each camper must provide his own baseball equipment. Campers should bring a glove, bat, helmet, and water bottle. Baseball attire should be worn.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
On Day 1 please check-in at 8:30am.
A medical, assumption of risk, and swimming permission form must be completed prior to the start of the camp. You can bring the signed forms the first day of camp or you can fax it to Coach Mumma at 410-455-1536.

Parking pass will be sent to you.
Lunch will be provided for this session at the UMBC Dining Hall.
Camp Store available on site to purchase UMBC Baseball apparel.
