Summer Slam Hitting Camp

07/02/2018 ~ Monday Registration Ends: 07/02/2018$60.00 | Alumni Field 1000 Hilltop Cir, Baltimore, MD 21250

The Hitting Camp is designed to provide the camper with the skills necessary to do damage at the plate and create runs. Rather than spread instructional time across all the different areas of the game, the Hitting Camp is a one day workshop focused only on the swing. It will be packed with instruction and repetitions. To maximize the camper's experience there is a limit on the total number of campers per session. If you are seriously interested in attending the camp, early registration is encouraged.

The same teaching/coaching philosophy used in the UMBC NCAA Division 1 Baseball Program will be employed. We will emphasize the basic fundamentals that must be mastered in order for a player to succeed in his age group, as well as to succeed as he gets older and competition level increases. Instructors will be UMBC Coaching Staff and current/former UMBC players.

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a Clinic?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
