Chicago’s Championship Baseball Academy

The idea of the Academy is to provide players a training environment where they can realize their goals of improving as a “Complete Baseball Player.” Top level training along with advanced methods, allows a young player’s potential growth in areas that normal team training does not allow. This concept is about the player’s development in all facets of the game. Whether you are a beginner or advanced player, you will receive hands on, intense baseball training.

Our goal at the Chicago’s Championship Baseball Academy is to offer an advanced level of instruction in a safe, controlled, fun environment that will enhance the player’s opportunity to reach his/her maximum potential.

Our baseball camps and showcases are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at University of Illinois-Chicago.

2018 Spring Break Advanced Hitting Camp

Description

This Spring Break Advanced Hitting Camp is designed to cover various hitting drills and techniques in-depth.  In this 2 hour and 15 minute camp you will be broken up into the appropriate age group to learn swing fundamentals along with the approach all hitters need to know in developing a complete hitting stroke. Let the hitting coaches from University of Illinois-Chicago Baseball work this Spring Break to improve your swing!  Each Session is limited to 18 players. This small group setting maximizes the amount of instruction for players.  

 

Equipment to Bring

Each camper must bring his or her own baseball equipment. Players will need their own bat, batting gloves, molded spikes or tennis shoes, and helmet.

 

MAXIMUM 18 participants in this session

 

Check-in 

15 Minutes Prior to Each Session at the UIC Indoor Hitting Facility

 

Waiver Information

Campers must have their own medical insurance and must provide a photocopy of the insurance card. No Exceptions!

 

Directions

The camp is held on the campus of University of Illinois Chicago, located in the Near West neighborhood of Chicago. The camp will take place at the UIC Indoor Hitting Facility.

Cancellation Policy: Your camp fee, less $30.00 will be refunded if cancellation is made at least 10 days prior to the start of camp. After that date, refunds will be made for medical reasons only, accompanied by a signed statement from a physician.
