University of Houston Camps Frequently Asked Questions:

Will lunch be provided or do we need to bring a lunch?

For all of our All-Star day camps lunch can be purchased for $5 each day (Monday/Wednesday 2 pieces of pizza and a drink Tuesday/Thursday Hamburger, chips and a drink).

Are the All-Star Day Camps consecutive camps?

No, each All-Star day camp is its own camp. You do not have to have attended Session I to attend Session II and so on. The “Session” term is to give separation to the weeks of the camps. The camp schedules and curriculum are similar but not the same.

Can parents/family stay and watch camp?

Absolutely, parents/families are more than welcome to stay at camp and watch their go through the drills and play games.

Where should we park for the camps?

All parking on UH is paid parking, we will be using lot 15H as a drop off/pick up lot only. We will have someone to open the gate starting at 8:00am (Monday’s) and 8:20 (Tuesday-Thursday). Once camps starts at 9:00am the arm will go down, I will send a person out to help open the gate at 12:15pm and 3:25pm for half day campers leaving after lunch as the end of the day pick up. ALL PICK UPS MUST BE MADE AT COUGAR FIELD. If you are going to be staying for the day please park in the parking garage down the street by the football stadium (Off of Holman St).

How will the campers be grouped?

We will group the campers by age for all drills/rotations/games. If a camper is coming with a friend we ask them Monday morning to stand by their friends as we make the groups. They will stay in the same group for the week.
