The 2013 Summer Youth Camps will take place at Tulane's McWilliams Athletic Complex featuring the brand new Greer Field at Turchin Stadium, the Sofio Hitting Facility, and two astroplay fields.
Fundamentals of throwing, hitting, catching, base running and team concept will be stressed. Each afternoon will feature camp games, where campers will be divided by age and skill level.
"My goals for each and every camper are well-defined. I want to make sure that they have a clear understanding of the correct fundamentals to aid them in their development. Also, I want to make sure that each camper has a great time, whether it be during the morning instructional phase or the afternoon games. We spare no expense to hire some of baseball's finest professional and college coaches, which ensures our camp's status among the nation's elite."
Tulane Head Baseball Coach Rick Jones
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, Helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

Turchin Stadium is on the north end of Tulane's campus. It is on Ben Weiner Drive, which is a one-way street going north.
From the East: Take I-10 west to the Claiborne Avenue exit (the only exit on the left, don't get caught in the right lane). Go down Claiborne about three miles and past seven traffic signals. Take a left on Calhoun, then a right on Willow. Ben Weiner Drive is the next immediate right.
From the West: Take I-10 East to the Carrollton Avenue exit (the second exit after the I-10/I-610 split). The exit will put you right on Carrollton, so go down about a mile until you reach Claiborne Avenue at a lighted intersection. Go through the intersection and make a u-turn back toward Claiborne and turn right on Claiborne. Go past the traffic light, which will be Broadway, and take a right on Audubon Blvd. (not Audubon Street). Take a left on Willow and go through the stop light. At the next light, turn left onto Ben Wiener Drive
Toulouse Gourmet Caterers will be on location if campers need to purchase lunch or snacks during camp.
