On April 18, 1992, Goodwin Field became the new home of Cal State Fullerton baseball. The occasion was marked with the Titans sweeping a doubleheader against Loyola Marymount, 8-2 and 11-3, setting the tone for the next two decades. Titan Baseball Academy

Titan Baseball Academy in California offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of baseball. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful baseball players. Organized games between campers will provide a competitive outlet after specific drills have been practiced. Contests built into drills capture the learner’s attention, which results in attentive practice.

Drill progressions will be aimed towards recognizing and developing good habits in all aspects of the game. General courtesy, respect for teammates and opponents and the importance of hard work will be taught to the campers through example by the Titan coaches.

Description

Titan Prospect Hitting Camp provides a close look into being the complete hitter. We will have a presentation of the absolutes of hitting the baseball hard and being on time. Various drills that encourage balance, explosion, and consistency. While learning the fundamentals of hitting, you have an opportunity to showcase your swing and offensive strengths to the Cal State Fullerton baseball Staff. We will also spend time on talking the mental approach to being the complete hitter. All drills and concepts are the same training we do here in our baseball program.

 

Times

Saturday 10:00am -1:00pm Sunday 11:00am - 2:00pm

 

Equipment

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete.

Parking Information

Parents: There are 30 minute spaces in Lot G for drop-off/pick-up of campers. If you plan to be here longer than 30 minutes, please purchase an $8.00 permit from one of the yellow machines in Lot G. Campus is open and there is a charge for parking. The parking officers check this lot frequently and if you are parked over 30 minutes in a 30 minute space or in the lot without a paid permit you will be issued a citation.

 

Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for one year from camp date.

Our winter youth camp gives players a chance to work on their game with Cal State Fullerton players and coaches. Each day will include skill instruction on how to play like a Titan, while incorporating a wide variety of drills and competitive games. The Titan Baseball Academy is for all players interested in taking their skill set to the next level whether it be hitting, fielding, or pitching. Our camps are designed to prepare each player for the next step in their baseball career.

 

Cost: $200.00

 

Equipment

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, Helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

This is a camp designed for Jr High players (grades 7th and 8th) and its focus is to prepare jr high players for high school baseball. Focus for this camp will be on position specific skills (Pitching, Infield, Outfield, Catching) as well as hitting, base running, building arm strength, weight lifting/speed and conditioning.

 

Cost: $175.00

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, Helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

Description

This camp is for Pitchers and catchers who want to get great instruction from the Cal State Fullerton coaches and former Cal State Fullerton players. Titan current staff and players will be instructing and evaluating during the camp.

 

Pitchers: Campers will get hands on instruction on being a complete pitcher. Learn to train as a pitcher by titans staff and professional players. Campers will learn Proper Pitching mechanics, progression throwing drills, fielding your position, and mastering the mental game.

 

Catchers: Camp will be filled with intense catching drills which will include receiving, blocking, throwing to all bases, tag plays, pop ups and game calling skills/handling pitchers. This camp will be ran by CSF catching Coach Andy Jenkins along with former and current Titan catchers.

 

Additional Option

Additional fee of $20.00 dollars for any pitching that wants their metric information from our Rapsodo program.
