The Stony Brook University Camp in conjunction with Long Island Baseball Academy is geared to the instruction of student ages 7-17.
Younger campers will be provided with a positive introduction to the world of athletics in a fun atmosphere. Our young campers will enjoy the game of baseball by learning the basic skills needed to develop a strong foundation for mature athletic success.
During the week, as our students' skills develop, so will their self-esteem and confidence.
Instruction for our older campers will be geared to-ward coaching "What it takes" to become a successful player. The progression of skills and individualized instruction will be geared toward making all campers reach their baseball potential.
Additionally, it is hoped that the time spent at the camp will be a memorable experience and one that will allow all campers to become not only better baseball players, but better young people.
This camp is open to any and all student ages 7-17
Our Outstanding Coaching Staff
All of the instructors at the Stony Brook Baseball Clinic are ex-perienced high school and college coaches and college players. Not only do they possess an abundance of baseball knowledge, but their capacity for teaching and genuine care and concern for young people is unequaled. The staff will focus on each individ-ual camper's needs. They will spend the week helping campers develop skills allowing them to finish the session with a sense of pride and personal achievement.

09:30-10:45: Individual Fundamentals
10:45-12:00: Instructional Game
12:00-12:45: Lunch in air conditioned cafeteria
12:45-01:45: Team Fundamentals and position skills
01:45-03:00: Instructional Game
03:00-03:35: Extra Effort Contests
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring their own glove, baseball shoes or sneakers, favorite bat, sweats or baseball pants. Catchers are encouraged to bring their own equipment.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Please check in 30 minutes prior to the start time on day 1.

All campers will be covered by a group accident
insurance policy provided by the camp at no
additional cost. A medical form and assumption of

A full lunch program in air conditioned cafeteria is available for purchase on the registration page. (additional $60 per session).
If you do not choose to purchase the lunch option a sack lunch and personal drinking water are strongly recommended.

Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information
Players will need to provide their own transportation to and from this camp.
Stony Brook University Baseball items will be available for purchase at this event.
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
