Located in the heart of campus, Brooks Field is a top-flight baseball facility nestled four miles from Wilmington's beautiful down town river front and four miles from exclusive Wrightsville Beach.
Named in honor of former head coach and athletic director William J. Brooks, the facility has a trio of regulation fields for games, practice and summer camps.
The main field has a natural playing surface surrounded by an eight-foot wall with dimensions of 340 down the lines, 360 in the power alleys and 380 in center. Seating capacity is 3,000 for the stadium, which has an irrigation system to insure ideal conditions.
The field has also served as the home field for two professional teams. During the 1995 and 1996 seasons, Seattle's AA affiliate, the Port City Roosters, played at UNCW. The Wilmington Waves, a A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, played at the facility in the summer of 2001.

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection".
We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps.
Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
