Foresters Summer Baseball Camps

 

Have fun and learn more about baseball with the best college players in the country . . . the Santa Barbara Foresters! The Foresters are six-time National Champions and 20 time California Collegiate League Champions, so they sure know their baseball! The players and coaches are with the campers at all times, passing on baseball knowledge and ensuring a fun, positive atmosphere.

 

Our baseball camps in Southern California are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by Forester Players and Coaches.

Santa Barbara Foresters Baseball Camp #1

07/02/2018 - 07/06/2018 ~ Monday - Friday Registration Ends: 07/02/2018$180.00 | Bishop Diego High School 4000 La Colina Rd, Santa Barbara, CA 93110

Boys & Girls Ages 7-12 | Starts: 9:00am / Ends: 2:00pm
No camp will be held on July 4, but campers can take part in pregame warmups and activities with the Foresters before their game that day. Campers can then attend that July 4 game for free!

Description

Play baseball with your local heroes! Foresters player and coaches help young players have fun while learning baseball skills. Through drills, games, and baseball activities, campers will learn from the best! All the key baseball skills are covered: hitting, fielding, baserunning, and pitching. Learn to play the Foresters way! Campers each receive a Foresters T-shirt as part of the registration fee. (Bonus: Wear the T-shirt to any Foresters game this summer and receive free admission!)

 

The camp day includes warmup, instruction, games, and tons of fun. The Foresters players who act at coaches and counselors come from the top baseball university programs. More than 30 former Foresters have reached the Major Leagues (including James Shields, Matt Garza, Ryan Spilborghs, Ryan Church, Chris Pettit, and many others), so your son or daughter might have a future Major Leaguer as a coach!

 

Foresters coaches and staff also supervise this fun and safe atmosphere. It's a great way for young players to hone their skills, or even for new players to try out our great National Pastime. Along with baseball skills, campers interact with our players, who become great role models. And campers really enjoy cheering for their favorites when they watch the Foresters play in the evenings and on weekends!

 

Equipment
Campers should wear baseball shoes (no metal spikes) or sneakers. Campers should wear baseball pants or sweatpants, and bring glove, hat, and jacket if weather calls for it. Campers should also bring their own sunscreen and batting helmets. The Foresters will provide baseballs, bats, and instruction.

 

Parents: Please be on time picking up your campers. The Foresters need to get to the ballpark and if you're late . . . they're late!

 

Check-in

On Day 1 please check-in at 8:45am

 

Meals 

Campers need to provide their own sack lunches and drinks (water will be available).

 

Accommodations

This is not an "overnight" camp. Players travelling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.
