Players will also get the chance to see the athletic facilities and meet with current players during the games! In the past, many other local college coaches have been in attendance. Built in memory of former Rhode Island baseball and football coach, Bill Beck Field originally opened in 1966 and has since served as the home of the Rams.
In November of 2007, an anonymous donor pledged $1-million to the Rhody baseball program, initiating facility renovations designed to equip the Rams with one of the finest ballparks in all of New England. Seventeen months and $1.4-million dollars later, the 2009 Rhode Island baseball team has a completely resurfaced field consisting of the same artificial FieldTurf used by the Minnesota Twins, Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays. Also included in the renovation project were a new backstop, scoreboard, fencing and bullpens.
Aside from providing URI with an outstanding competitive advantage, the improved facility also requires significantly less maintenance which, in turn, allows the team to spend more time on the field throughout the year. After additional fundraising goals are met, the Rams plan to install lighting and construct stadium style seating.
Registration begins at 8:30am at the Hitting Barn on right field side of field.
Medical forms will be attached to your e-mailed receipt and are available on-line. Please print fill out and bring to camp. Download Waiver

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date . Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp.
