Donny Harrel’s Redhawk Baseball Institute LLC

Donny Harrel’s Redhawk Baseball Institute in Seattle, Washington offers an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of baseball. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful baseball players. Organized games between campers will provide a competitive outlet after specific drills have been practiced.

Drill progressions will be aimed towards recognizing and developing good habits in all aspects of the game. General courtesy, respect for teammates and opponents and the importance of hard work will be taught to the campers through example by the Donny Harrel’s Redhawk Baseball Institute coaches.

Description 

This camp allows for progression in both infield play and hitting. Learn and develop your talents through 4 different progression camps. This camp series will use game-situations to enhance each ball players ability to defend better in the infield and be a greater threat at the plate.

 

When

November 18th & 25th as well as December 2nd & 9th

Infield Progression 5pm 7pm each night followed by Hitting Progressions for 90 minutes following the Infield Camps.

Seattle University Redhawk Center, 550 14th Ave., Seattle, WA

 

From 1-5, take the James Street exit and head east. James Street will turn into E. Cherry Street. The Redhawk Center is on the corner of E. Cherry St. and 14th Ave. Campers can turn on 14th Avenue and park along Championship Field.

                                                                                                                      

Cost

$199 for the 4 week infield progression (limit of 30 campers)

$159 for the 4 week hitting progression (limit of 20 campers)

$325 for the 4 week combo of infield and hitting

 

Coaches

Campers will learn from the SU staff and players.

 

Format

Infield stations will provide each camper with the physical repetition to increase his skill level. Hitting Stations will include data and video feedback from our new Hit Trax system that test exit velocity and launch angle with each swing. All stations for each session for will have technique and mechanical teaching.

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp? We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

 

There will be a 10% refund fee for those who sign up and do not make it to camp.

Description 

This two-day instructional camp provides athletes ages 13-15 an opportunity to learn and develop their offensive talents in hitting and also improve their bat control for situational hitting.

December 15 & 16, 2018

 

Time:

9:00am 12:00pm

 

Check in: Check-in will be 15 minutes prior to camp. Enter through the South Entrance of the Redhawk Center (attached to the small parking lot next to the Seattle University Fitness Center.)

The camp will use game-situations to enhance each ball players ability to be a greater threat at the plate. The camp will use Hit Traxto show each hitters exit velocity and launch angle. Take advantage of the Astro Gym and classroom lectures with exercises to help you to become a complete offensive player.
