17th Annual Nick Giaquinto Baseball Camp

Join Head Coach Nick Giaquinto, assistant coaches Wayne Mazzoni, Alex Trezza and the SHU baseball team for "Winter Workouts" at the William H. Pitt Health and Recreation Center on the campus of Sacred Heart University.
The purpose of this camp is to stress the fundamentals of baseball by providing quality instruction, giving each camper close personal attention, and providing numerous repetitions at each skill. We are able to provide each camper with quality instruction in small groups by utilizing the Pioneer coaching staff and the Pioneer baseball players as instructors.
Note: Only 100 players will be accepted for this event. Please register right away to secure your spot.
This event will run four consecutive Sundays.
1/12, 1/19 and 1/26 from 5-7pm
2/2 from 4-6 pm
Each player will recieve a Sacred Heart Baseball T-Shirt.
Each player must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

Camp conducted at: William H. Pitt Center at Sacred Heart U.
From New York and Points South:
Hutchinson River / Merritt Parkway (Route 15) North to Exit 47. Left off ramp onto Park Ave. Go through first light. Sacred Heart University's main entrance will be on the right. Pass information booth and make first right. Follow signs for the William H. Pitt Center.
From Hartford and Points North:
Route 91 South to Exit 17. Take Wilbur Cross / Merritt Parkway (Route 15) South to Exit 47 (Park Ave.). Left off ramp. Sacred Heart University's main entrance is through the first traffic light on the right. Follow directions to Pitt Center.
From Points East:
Interstate 95 South. In Milford take Exit 38 to Merritt Parkway. Merritt Parkway (Route 15) South to Exit 47 (Park Ave.). Left off ramp. Main entrance to campus is through the first light on the right. Follow directions to the Pitt Center.
From Points West:
Interstate 84 East to Exit 9 (Bridgeport Route 25). Take right off exit ramp. Take left at light onto Route 25 South. Take Route 25 to Merritt Parkway (Route 15) South. Route 15 South to Exit 47 (Park Ave.). Left off ramp. Sacred Heart campus is on the right through the first traffic light. Follow directions to the Pitt Center.
Directions for Buses from Connecticut Turnpike (I-95):
Exit 27A (North or South). Get off Route 25/8 at Exit 4 (Lindley St.). Left off ramp, up to light. Take left onto Capitol Ave. Go to third light (Park Ave.) Go right and up three miles. Sacred Heart's main entrance will be on the left. Follow directions to the Pitt Center.
Meals will not be provided for this session.
This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information
There will be no airport transportation offered for this event.
Sacred Heart University Baseball merchandise will be available at this event.
What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
