Northwestern Unveils 2013 Baseball Slate
The Wildcats lift the lid on the season the weekend of Feb. 15-17 with a trip to Greenville, S.C., where they will play in the First Pitch Invitational at Fleur Field, home of the Boston Red Sox Class A affiliate, the Greenville Drive. Northwestern will play games against Furman, Miami (OH), and Michigan State during the season's first weekend. |
Directions to Rocky Miller ParkFrom Chicago: Take either Lake Shore Drive or I-90/94 (Kennedy). If you go the Lake Shore Drive route, follow LSD until it ends and merges with Sheridan Road. Take Sheridan north through Evanston (follow the signs as Sheridan winds through south Evanston). Turn left on Central Street, just north of the main campus. Go west approximately one mile to Ryan Field. If you take the expressway, stay on the Kennedy until I-90 and 94 split. Take I-94 West (Edens) toward Milwaukee. Exit on Old Orchard Road and proceed east. Turn left on Gross Point Road and then turn right at the next light which is Central Street. Proceed approximately two miles to Ashland Street. Turn right. Rocky Miller Park is on the corner of Ashland and Isabella Streets.
From O'Hare International Airport: Exit the airport and take I-294 North. Exit on Dempster Street east and proceed several miles until you reach I-94. Take I-94 West and exit and turn right on Old Orchard Road. Proceed east and turn left on Gross Point Road. Take the next right on Central Street and head east approximately two miles to Ashland Street. Turn LEFT. Rocky Miller Park is on the corner of Ashland and Isabella Streets. |
