Weekend Elite Specialty Camp (Summer Hitting, Pitching, Catching)

Ages 7-18

Location: Mansfield University-Mansfield, PA

Friday, July 12, 2013 to Sunday, July 14, 2013

Camp Description

 

Campers receive intensified instruction in the area of their choice.

For pitchers, holding runners and mental concepts. Pitchers and catchers will also receive hitting instruction throughout the weekend in the batting cages.

Hitters will be schooled in opposite field hitting, bunting and the art of hitting the breaking ball. Hitting swings will be systematically broken down to develop the complete hitter.

Catchers receive a one of a kind experience including receiving, blocking, and throwing mechanics. Games will be played Saturday night.

Advanced instruction will be given for the high school player interested in playing at the collegiate level.

Camp is designed for players aged 7-18, with two age divisions of 7-12 year olds and 13-18 year olds.

Equipment:
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.

Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscomunication.

Camp Check-in

 

Players should check in at the baseball stadium about 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.

Waiver & Medical Release Form will be attached to your e-mail confirmation. It is also available below.

Please print fill out, sign and deliver this form to the registration check in on the first day of camp. You will be unable to attend camp without this form.

Meals

 

Campers will be provided a "all you can eat" lunch each day.

Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information

 

Airport pick-up can be arranged at the Elmira-Corning, NY Airport or the Williamsport, PA Airport. There is a $50 rt charge. Please try to arrange flight schedules to arrive from 2-5pm on check-in day and to depart 6-8pm on last day. Please make sure to check the airport option and then supply your flight schedule.
