Thanks for a job well done! Nathan and I had a great time over the weekend. He learned some very good hitting, pitching, and fielding techniques and I learned a few new coaching tips as well. Coach Perry and the players did a great job with our group. If all works out with my Army schedule next year, I'll be back with Nathan, his older brother, and maybe even a friend or two and their sons.
We've been to several other camps and it was nice to have the small group, personal interaction, and scheduled fun time. It was also nice to see the MU campus for the first time since graduation back in 1990. Complements to your wife for the BBQ chicken, pasta salad, and cupcakes.

Coach Hillson:
Joe attended your summer camp. He was invited down south to a division 1 school's showcase/camp recently. It was a 2 day program, very intense, but i'll tell you, my son and i both agree your camp was more organized and skills based. They had too much down time. He walked away from your camp pumped!
Buy the way, he left your camp and went right into senior legion all star competition. He was the youngest player on the team. Against bradford county, in a game leading to the championship, he went 2/3 with 4 rbi's. Other than that, due to his age, he was only used as a ph. He batted .375 with 6 rbi's in four games.
He'll probably attend your summer camp again. He really enjoyed every minute of it.
