Camp Description

The UMass coaching staff would like to invite you of our 8th Annual Minuteman Future's Prospect Clinic. The Clinic will be held on Friday July, 11, 2014 @ 11:00 a.m.

The UMass coaching staff, as well as other area College coaches will be evaluating and directing the Clinic. This will be a great opportunity for you pick up some valuable pointers and to show off your baseball skills.

We will have a maximum of two 18 player teams. Each team will consist of 11 position players and 7 pitchers. The Clinic will give position players an opportunity to run, take infield, and batting practice as well as play a 7 inning ball game. Pitchers will be evaluated in the bullpen, have their pitches timed, and pitch in the ballgame as well.

This will be a great opportunity for you to see UMass and to show your "stuff" as well as to also pick up some valuable pointers.

General Information

In addition to your performance on the field, you will receive a T-shirt for identification purposes and an evaluation within two weeks.

Each player must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the clinic draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for the clinic. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

What if I have to cancel a clinic?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future clinic credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of clinic fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight clinic, and 7 days prior to the start of a day clinic. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a clinic credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our national locations. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future clinic.
