Camp Description


The Inaugural Mid-August Showcase - Prospect Camp offers a unique baseball learning opportunity for the high school player. We invite you to join us at the end of the summer for an exciting session of baseball.

The Mid-August Showcase has been developed as a highly instructional baseball experience geared towards each player's individual exposure.

The Mid-August Showcase will evaluate your abilities, teach detailed skills and enlighten you to the college game. This will be accomplished in a highly organized professional environment. All players will also be exposed to the scenic campus of the University of Michigan.

If you have the desire to improve your game, expose your skills, open college doors, and work with highly qualified coaches, this event is essential for your development.

We will have numerous college coaches from the Midwest working as instructors, evaluators and camp staff.

Camp schedule:
Aug 14th
08:00am - 09:00 am: Check in
09:00am - 12:00pm: Defensive Instruction
12:00am - 12:30 pm: Lunch
12:30pm - 04:00pm: Defensive/Offensive Stations
04:00pm - 05:00pm: Break out session on Strength / Speed & Agility / Nutrition
05:00pm - Camp Ends

Aug 15th
08:30am - Players Arrive
09:00am - 05:00 pm: Live Games

Evaluation / Feedback
We will give feedback during camp, but we do not provide a written evaluation of every camper.

Each player is encouraged to come in a uniform (high school, legion or summer team). Each Player must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, running shoes/turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.

Camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by age, number or grade level.

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

Camp Check-in


Registration: Check in 30 minutes prior to start time.

Please print out waiver above from website or the link from your receipt, fill out and bring to camp first day.

The University of Michigan requires all campers to have had a physical in the last year at the time of the camp. Please provide such documentation at registration check in.

This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.



We will be selling University of Michigan Baseball Merchandise at this event.

Miscellaneous Information


What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
