This camp will be presented by Marist College Head Coach Chris Tracz and Assistant Coaches Tyler Kavanaugh and Jesse Marsh along with other current players from the Red Fox program.
Prepare for your high school season with the Red Foxes of Marist College.
The clinic will focus on hitting and positional-instruction that will give each camper the necessary knowledge and drill work to prepare the season. The clinic will be broken down into two parts: Offense and position-specific defense.
An in depth hitting session will include
• Drill work
• Video analysis
• Class room session on Marist's offensive philosophy.
Focusing on in-depth review of each camper's individual mechanics, video analysis will be used with each player to determine specific drills and workout routines that best fit that player's development.
Beyond mechanics, the clinic will also discuss
• Hitting approach
• Situational hitting
• Hitting with two strikes
The Positional-Instruction session will be broken down into infield and outfield groups. Working in small groups, instructors will take the players through various position-specific defensive techniques to help take their game to the next level.
We will focus on:
• Throwing program
• Position-specific nuances
Preparing for the season in small indoor spaces is the reality of Northeast baseball. Improve yourself by learning the same drill work and daily routines that the Red Foxes use to prepare for their season
To enable individual improvement of the player, enrollment is limited to small numbers to aide in the individual instruction. Enroll early to ensure a spot.
