Camp Cost: $90.00
This camp will be presented by Marist College Head Coach Chris Tracz and Assistant Coaches Tyler Kavanaugh, and Jesse Marsh along with other current players from the Red Fox program.
This clinic is designed to teach fundamentals of the game. Through individual instruction, group instruction and drill work each participant will learn the key elements of being a college baseball player.
The pitching clinic will center on pitching mechanics to help each pitcher prepare for their high school season. Instructors work specific drills to improve the mechanics of the pitcher including
• Compact/repeatable delivery
• Staying connected
• Positive body direction
• Maintaining the kinetic chain
Each pitcher will throw a 30 pitch bullpen that will be filmed and broken down by Head Coach Chris Tracz.
The clinic will also instruct pitchers on:
• Pitcher-specific strength and conditioning.
• Throwing program to build and maintain velocity.
• Proper arm care techniques.
This catching clinic will afford catchers a great opportunity to work with Marist Assistant Coach Tyler Kavanaugh. Working with players in a small group, we will focus on individual development.
The clinic will instruct players on proper technique
• Staying safe on plays at the plate
• Pitcher/Catcher relations
• Catcher-specific strength and conditioning
Catchers will also get a 45 minutes hitting clinic and BP session with Red Fox Coaches.
To enable individual improvement of the player, enrollment is limited to small numbers to aide in the individual instruction. Enroll early to ensure a spot.
Items to bring:
• Baseball uniform (T-Shirt will be provided to be worn during the clinic)
• Baseball bat and batting gloves
• Baseball glove
• Helmet if you have one (Helmets will be provided)
• Baseball hat
• Catcher's gear (only for those signed up to catch)
• Cleats and tennis shoes
Note: Marist College or Baseball Program is NOT responsible for lost or stolen equipment.

Lunch will not be provided. Participants are welcome to bring snacks if they so choose.
This is a day camp only. No overnight option is available.
Marist College Baseball merchandise will be available to purchase while at the clinic.
What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel. We have what is called "Cancellation Protection".
We off basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 7 days prior to the start of the clinic. If you cancel within 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid.
The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
