This is a unique opportunity for boys and girls ages 7-12 to spend a week on the field as a Matador.
Come and enjoy part of your summer with the Matadors at Cal State University of Northridge! The Matador Baseball Youth Leadership Camps are designed with FUN and LEARNING in mind. Our leadership portion of the camp will be integrated into the skills portion. As the players develop the physical skills needed to progress as baseball players they will also be taught the fundamentals that Coach John Wooden laid out in his pyramid of success.
Campers will then not only learn the details of baseball, but the foundation for life skills and leadership that can be applied both on and off the baseball field. The Matador Baseball Youth Leadership Camps provide a great way for youth players to learn from the coaching staff and players from the Matadors baseball team.

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, helmet and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Campers should wear baseball pants. Catchers must bring their own gear. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

For parking on campus you will need a parking pass to park in Lot E6. Daily parking passes are available at the kiosk for $6.
Players will be responsible for their own lunch.
This is day camp only. No overnight option available.
Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information
Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for their own transportation.
We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of camp. If you cancel within 14 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for one year from camp date. No refunds or camp credits will be given on the day of camp.
