Andy Stankiewicz invites you to the Lopes Elite Pitching & Catching Camp. This is a premier pitching and catching camp that is directed to help prepare you for the upcoming spring season. This specialized camp will give you one on one professional instruction.
GCU Pitching Coach Rich Dorman will be instructing and watching you throw off the mound in an individualized bullpen session . During the two day camp you will go through mechanical and mental strategies to improve you as a pitcher. This camp will also cover proper stretching technique, pitcher catch play routines, bullpen routines, arm care maintenance and individual defense regarding pitcher fielding plays. If you are a pitcher this is a great opportunity to learn from one of the best pitching coaches in the country, who has developed numerous Major League Baseball players.
GCU assistant baseball coach Justin Gemoll will be teaching and fine tuning you as a catcher before the season begins. You will receive over six hours of one on one catching instruction from coach Gemoll. In this specialized camp coach Gemoll will instruct you in the proper receiving technique, blocking, throwing, pop flies, fielding bunts, plays at the plate and developing and understanding pitcher catcher communication. This is a great opportunity to cover every aspect of the catching position and be reinforced over the two day camp.
