Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Description

Grand Canyon University head coach Andy Stankiewicz and Hitting Coach Justin Gemoll are putting on The GCU Hitting/Offensive camp. This camp will provide all players within the age of 13-18 the opportunity to learn the physical mechanics and mental side of hitting. During this, three-day camp players will also be instructed about the execution of team offense, and how to help your team Win offensively! Do not miss your opportunity to come work on your swing at GCUs beautiful brand new Ballpark and Hitting Facility!

The Grand Canyon University Baseball Academy is designed to teach students solid fundamental baseball skills as well as to raise their level of understanding of the game of baseball. Our purpose is to provide each camper with the instruction and encouragement needed to develop individual skills to a greater level. In addition, we want the camper to be aware that individual skills are best utilized when they are incorporated into a team concept. We will emphasize how individuals work together on a field to form a baseball "team."

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

Description

Andy Stankiewicz and the entire GCU coaching staff are holding its annual summer prospect camp. This prospect camp is directed for all of those players who are interested in attending and playing baseball at Grand Canyon University. This camp will offer each player the chance to display all of their individual tools for the entire GCU coaching staff. Every player will be put through a 60-yard dash, a defensive pro style workout, Batting Practice and highly competitive games.

 

Thursday:  5:00pm-9:00pm

Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm) Lunch Served 

 

Players receive- GCU Baseball Dri-Fit Shirt

Description

Grand Canyon University head coach Andy Stankiewicz and Staff are putting on their annual summer defensive skills/Pitching camp. Coach Stankiewicz has the reputation as being one of the best infield/defensive instructors in the nation. This camp is directed for all players within the ages of 13-18. Coach Stankiewicz will work one on one with you by putting you through his daily infield drills and instruction. Assistant coaches and staff will also provide outfield and catching instruction as well. Pitching Coach Rich Dorman will instruct the Pitching side of things, as campers will learn the Lopes throwing program, proper arm care, and throw bullpens in front of Staff. This three-day camp is the perfect opportunity to learn how to play defense from one of the best instructors/programs in the country.
