Lions Release 2018 Baseball Schedule

Coming off its first West Coast Conference baseball championship since 2000, LMU has released its 2018 season schedule. The slate, announced by 10th-year head coach Jason Gill, will feature 52 games, including 24 to be played at LMU’s Page Stadium. The Lions will play seven regular-season games against teams that reached the 2016 NCAA Tournament, including facing Super Regional-qualifier Long Beach State for a pair of games. Read More

Loyola Marymount Baseball Camps

Welcome to Loyola Marymount Baseball Camps. Players at all skill levels will be challenged each day with specific skill instruction and drill work during stations.

Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that each camper will enjoy and succeed in the daily activities of camp. Our coaching staff and current players are looking forward to having you at camp and getting you to reach your maximum potential each day.

Description

This Camp allows the LMU staff to evaluate players and their ability on the offensive side of the game. Players will also receive valuable hitting advice which can help them develop into a division 1 hitter.

Equipment 
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other catching equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark camper's names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.

Accommodations

This is day camp only. No overnight option available.

 

Merchandise

There will be no merchandise for sale at this camp. LMU merchandise will be available at the LMU Bookstore on campus.

 

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp? We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. 

 

Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be provided during camp. In the event of an emergency the EMS will be called.

  

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

This Camp will focus on the catching position and will feature elite instruction from LMU Coach Matt Koch. This Camp will focus on the three main areas of catching which are Receiving, Blocking, and Throwing footwork
