Our camps have been a vital force in developing baseball talent for over 20 years. They continually capture the work ethic and fundamentals that result in a well respected, winning program that continually produces All-Academic student-athletes as well as professional baseball players. Our baseball camps and showcases are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at Jacksonville University


Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by Jacksonville University are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.

Dolphin Hitting Academy III

Grades: K-12 | Starts: 8:00pm



The Dolphin Hitting Academy is designed to help young baseball players improve their hitting skills through various drills and games. Participants will be receiving detailed instruction, drill work, and video evaluation (at the end of camp) in our hitting pavilion and will have an opportunity to hit live under the lights at John Sessions Stadium. The camp will be conducted by Coach Rich Wallace. Coach Wallace has coached over 40 pro hitters and six Johnny Bench Award watch catchers. He has coached for 14 years, this is his second year at JU.


Dates & Times

All sessions will take place on Mondays at 8:00pm.

$75.00 per day

$200.00 for ALL 4 sessions


What To Bring
All campers must bring their own bat. Please bring turf shoes or tennis shoes to hit in. Helmets will be provided if needed.


Supervision and Discipline
Supervision is provided by the staff from check-in until dismissal. Each camper is informed of Camp rules, regulations, & responsibilities upon arrival. Each camper is liable for any damage to JU Property. The Camp will not tolerate any camper who is disruptive, destroys property, or does not conduct himself in a positive manner. Inappropriate behavior will result in a phone call to the camper's parent/guardian asking them to pick up their child. No refunds or credits will be given for camp dismissal.

We want to thank you very much for your interest in the Dolphin Baseball Academy at Jacksonville University. We welcome your presence at our camps in the stands to watch the daily activities. Observers may not enter the field. Parents/Guardians are responsible for their child's actions. Check-in will take place 30 minutes prior to the start of camp time.

This is not an overnight camp so no housing will be available.


Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information

All Campers will be responsible for their own transportation to and from camp daily. Airport pick up is NOT available for this session.


Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp? 
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.


Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
