Our camps have been a vital force in developing baseball talent for over 20 years. They continually capture the work ethic and fundamentals that result in a well respected, winning program that continually produces All-Academic student-athletes as well as professional baseball players. Our baseball camps and showcases are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at Jacksonville University

 

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by Jacksonville University are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.

JU Future Phin Camp

Description

The Phuture Phin Camp offers an in-depth look at the life of a Dolphin Baseball Player. Campers will receive the same developmental training and coaching as our JU Baseball student-athletes as they are evaluated through the camp. Participants will take part in the following activities during camp:

 

  • A typical JU Baseball practice run by the entire staff
    • Pro-style workout
    • In-depth positional skill instruction
  • An afternoon scrimmage
  • Weight room introduction
  • Recruiting talk with Coach Hayes and staff highlighting what the program searches for when recruiting prospective student-athletes and what it takes to become a student-athlete at Jacksonville University.

 

Hours: This camp is designed for players 14-18 and will run from 12:00pm 6:00pm

 

Cost: The cost of the camp is $50.00 per person for one camp. Space is limited.

 

What to bring: Player must bring his own baseball equipment: glove, bat, gear, cleats, running shoes, hat, and sunscreen.

  

A Note to Parents/Guardians
As a University we would like to thank you very much for your interest and support JU Baseball Camps. We welcome your presence at our camps in the stands to watch the daily activities. Observers may not enter the field at any time. We kindly ask that you not give personal instruction to campers during camp to eliminate confusion.

 

Check-in

Registration will take place at 11:30am at John Sessions Stadium, and pick up will be at 6:00pm.

This is not an overnight camp so no housing will be available.

 

Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information

All Campers will be responsible for their own transportation to and from camp daily. Airport pick up is NOT available for this session.

 

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
