Hofstra Baseball Camps

Welcome to Hofstra Baseball Camps. We are committed to providing a camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn! The coaching staff at Hofstra is dedicated to the development and growth of baseball players of all ages and skill levels.

 

Hofstra Baseball Camps offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of baseball. All of our camps are taught by our coaching staff along with current players. Our goal is to provide a positive and instrumental learning experience for all camps, in a structured, enthusiastic and fun environment.

Description

Welcome to The Hofstra Baseball Prospect Camp. We are committed to providing a camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn! The coaching staff at Hofstra is dedicated to the development and growth of baseball players of all ages and skill levels.

 

The Hofstra Baseball Prospect Camp will be using Rapsodo in all bullpens which will measure every pitchers spin rate, max velocity, average velocity, horizontal break, vertical break, true spin and spin efficiency. The Hofstra Baseball Prospect Camp will also be using FlightScope during the games in the afternoon. FlightScope will provide in game velocities for pitchers as well as spin rate on all pitches. FlightScope also provides exit velocity, horizontal launch, vertical launch, ball carry and flight time for all hitters.

$200.00 For Position Players and Pitcher Only

$250.00 For Two Way Players

08:00am-08:15am Introduction of the Camp Staff and Camp purpose: 

08:15am-09:00am Stretch/Warm up/Run

09:00am-10:00am Defensive Showcase

10:00am-11:00am Live Defense

11:15am-02:15pm Game 1

02:30pm-05:30pm  Game 2

 

Equipment: Campers will need to bring cleats, tennis shoes, glove, baseball hat, baseball pants, bat and batting gloves recommended but not required

 

Check-in: Registration check in will be between 7:00am-8:00am behind First Base Dugout at University Field.

 

Waiver Information

A release form must be completed prior to the start of the camp. You will need to deliver the signed form to registration check in. . Download Waiver

Parking Information

Park anywhere on campus near the field. If you are parking next to the field your car be in danger of being struck by a foul ball. It is recommend to park in the parking lot in the Hofstra Northern Blvd Parking lot.

 

Meals: Players lunch will be provided.
