Eagle Baseball Camps

Eagle Baseball Camps on the campus of Georgia Southern University in beautiful Statesboro, Georgia are dedicated to providing a baseball camp that is both instructional and information along with creating a great atmosphere to learn!

The coaching staff here at Georgia Southern prides itself on teaching the game of baseball to players of all ages and ability levels. All camps are taught by our coaching staff and players. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our camps are used with our college players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.

Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Description 

This is a one day camp that will feature instruction and a showcase / pro style workout in which high school players can display their talents.

 

The Georgia Southern Coaching Staff Only will teach the skills necessary to reach the collegiate playing level. As a player you will have the opportunity to meet the coaching staff one-on-one and be evaluated by the camp staff. This camp is designed for the player who is serious about taking their game to the next level.

 

Eagle Baseball Camps are designed to improve the fundamental skills of each player. Each player will have the opportunity to meet and receive instruction from some of the top coaches in the country. Each player will be provided his evaluation upon request. Requests can be made by emailing baseball@georgiasouthern.edu

 

Note: There will be a limited number of players at each position. Register now and secure your spot!

 

Players Will Receive

Facilities
Camp will be held at Georgia Southern University's JI Clements Stadium. The facilities used will include JI Clements Stadium, the batting cages, bullpen area and the multipurpose fields. The Michael Wiggins Building will house any camp meetings.

 

Equipment: All campers will need to bring all necessary baseball equipment such as: bat, glove, cleats, tennis shoes, catchers gear (if needed), etc.

 

All Georgia Southern Camps are open to any and all applicants and are limited only by the number of slots available per camp and the age, grade level and/or the gender of the participant.

 

Check-in

Primary Position Players will check in at 8:15am

Primary Pitchers will check in at 11:00am.

 

Waiver Information 

Be sure to bring a copy of your insurance card, a copy of your physical from within the past 12 months and the signed waiver. Download Waiver

 

Meals

Lunch will be provided.

 

Miscellaneous Information 

What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

Georgia Southern Father and Son Baseball Skills Camp

Description

Georgia Southern will be hosting the first ever Father and Son baseball camp on historic Jack Stalling Field. The camp will be under instruction of the Georgia Southern coaching staff and current Eagles players. The camp will focus on fundamentals for the player and train Dads on proper techniques and skills they can take home to continue instruction with their son.  The camp is a great experience for the baseball family, and time that can be enjoyed together.

 

Skill instruction will include: Throwing, Infield Play, Outfield Play, Hitting, and Pitching. Instruction will be followed by a father & son game in the afternoon

 

Lunch will be provided.

 

Cost: $125.00 / $50.00 each additional camper.

 

Camp includes:

  • T-shirt for both father and son
  • Pizza Lunch
  • Instruction in the morning
  • Games in afternoon

 

Facilities 

Camp will be held at Georgia Southern University's JI Clements Stadium. The facilities feature, Ft. Knocks (home of GSU's batting cages), bullpen area & indoor training facility. The Michael Wiggins Complex will house any camp meetings.

 

Equipment: All campers will need to bring all necessary baseball equipment such as: bat, glove, cleats, tennis shoes, catchers gear (if needed), etc.

 

All Georgia Southern Camps are open to any and all applicants and are limited only by the number of slots available per camp and the age, grade level and/or the gender of the participant.

Registration will begin at 8:00am on Monday and all players will begin stretching at 9am.
