Pre-Season Throwing Program (4 Sessions)
Location: GGC Baseball Field - Lawrenceville, GA
Monday, January 6, 2014 to Monday, January 27, 2014
Starts: 6:00pm / Ends: 7:00pm
Camp Cost: $99.00
This dynamic throwing pre-season program was developed for the premier and aspiring premier player.
It is a program for those serious about competing at the next level. Our coaches/trainers are here to care for, build, develop and fine-tune your technical skills and overall throwing/pitching performance.
Instruction will focus on the organization, connection, and speed of body movements that occur in a healthy and efficient throwing delivery. Throwing components such as intent, sync, momentum, tempo, rhythm, posture, efficiency, arm interaction, pelvic loading, and scapular movements will be introduced. Velocity gains, arm strength, endurance, improved mechanics and injury prevention are our goals for players participating. It is not usually the pitcher's large muscles that break down. Injury usually occurs in the smaller muscles and connective tissue of the shoulder; therefore, our throwing program is considered to be a more functional training for prevention and progress towards meeting these goals.
Cost: $99 or $175 for two pre-season training classes
Mondays: January 6, 13, 20 and 27
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. What if I have to cancel a camp?
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps/showcases. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
