Evaluation Description

This Tryout Event is the perfect opportunity for players to showcase their abilities for the opportunity to participate on the Texas Rangers Scout Team.

 

Tryout Coordinator: Todd Guggiana, Professional Scout with the Texas Rangers.
 
 

Players will be evaluated in the following areas
Pitchers: (20-30 pitch bullpen)
Position Players: Live BP/ 60's/ Defensive Skills (INF/OF)
Arm strength/ Footwork/ Overall Athleticism

 

Cost
$40.00 On-Line Registration
$50.00 Walk Up Registration

 

Times
Pitchers ( or multi position players)/ Catchers 10:00am-12:00pm  (9:00 am check-in)

Infielders/Outfielders 12:30pm-3:00pm  (11:45 am check-in)

 

Equipment
Each Player must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, running shoes/turf shoes, hat, helmet and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear and all campers must bring their own baseball pants.

 

Additional Information: No refunds are available for any reason for this event.

Meals

Players will be responsible for their own lunch.

 

Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information

Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for their own transportation. Airport transportation is not available.
