Here you will find our school’s Division I college baseball camps, prospect camps, instructional camps and Florida baseball clinics. Visit us in beautiful Fort Myers, Florida for a baseball camp or prospect event and show us your skills!

Our Florida baseball camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Our baseball camps and prospect events in Fort Myers, Florida are a great oppotunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at FGCU and are open to any and all entrants!

Description 

The EAGLE BASEBALL YOUTH SKILLS CAMP is intended for any and all participants in the grades K-8.  The participants will be instructed in four phases of the game: Hitting, Pitching, Catching, and Fielding. Campers will also enjoy games that will be played during the camp. This camp is designed for kids to learn the game as well as develop their skills.  We educate our campers on a variety of topics covered by our coaching staff. Camp will begin at 9:00am and end at 4:00pm Monday through Thursday. Half day campers will be dismissed at 12:30pm. Please be ready to SIGN IN your camper(s) at the beginning of each day and SIGN OUT your camper(s) at the end of each day. We will be going to the pool from 3:00-3:50pm (approx.) each day. Pool is only for Full-Day campers. Please bring a towel. We will walk to and from the pool which is located close to Swanson Stadium. Sandals may be a good to bring for that walk. Understand lightning may cancel going to pool or force us inside during baseball activities. If we are forced inside due to weather, we have baseball topics to present in a classroom discussion or we will watch baseball movies. Equipment:
Each Player must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, running shoes/turf shoes, hat, sunscreen and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided if needed. Bring a towel for pool. Bring cooler to keep lunch cool. We will have a Lost and Found (located in lockeroom) for anything we see left behind.

 

Spectators Attendance: 
Parents, families and friends are welcome to watch the daily activities in the stands or down the fence lines. Observers may not enter the field or cage area at any time.

 

Check-in

Please check in between 8:00am-9:00am in front of the stadium on Monday.  Tuesday to Thursday check in will be before 9:00am by the 1B side Dugout. Camp will begin at 9:00am.

 

Check-out: Half-Day campers will be next to 1B dugout. Full-Day campers will be at Main entrance to OSC Building (the building located down RF line). Please SIGN checkout form when signing out campers. Please email Coach DiBenedetto if you will have someone else signing out your son.

The campus is serviced by I-75 and is just east of the highway between exits 123 from the south and 128 from the north.

 

From south: Exit 123 - turn right (east) onto Corkscrew Road. Go mile and turn left onto Ben Hill Griffith Road. Go 2 miles to the stop light and turn right into campus.

From north: Exit 128 - turn left (east) onto Alico Road. Go mile and turn right onto Ben Hill Griffith Road. Go 2 miles to stop light and turn left into campus.

Once on campus turn left at the first stop sign. Go mile and turn left at the next stop sign. Go 1-block and turn right at the next stop sign. Road end at Alico Arena and Swanson Stadium

 

Meals

We will not provide lunch for the week. Please make sure to pack a lunch. We will store the lunches in our Lockeroom and we will eat in our baseball building cafeteria area. We will have water coolers located around the field. **Please do not make any meals with PEANUT BUTTER and do not bring any NUTS because of possible peanut allergies.

Description

This Eagle Baseball Prospect Skills Camp is intended for any and all participants in the grades 6 to 12. Campers will be separated by age and skill level. Older campers will play on the baseball game field. Younger campers will play on the softball field. All ages will practice and perform drills together most of the time. Some drills we will separate by ages.

Objective: The participants will be instructed in four phases of the game: Hitting, Pitching, Catching, and Fielding. Campers will get intense instruction and compete in GAMES. This camp is designed for players to learn the game as well as develop their skills in front of the Coaching Staff. Campers will also get classroom lectures on baseball strategy and game situations. Younger campers will compete on the softball diamond and older campers will compete on the baseball diamond. Most drills will be done together (all campers on Swanson) however some drills we will separate by age/skill level.

 

Facilities: The camp will use Swanson Stadium and the Softball Complex located of FGCUs main campus.

 

Educational Program: We educate our campers on a variety of topics covered by our coaching staff.

 

Schedule: Camp will begin at 9:00am. Camp will End Monday to Wednesday at 4:00pm. Camp will End on Thursday at Noon.
