Here you will find our school’s Division I college baseball camps, prospect camps, instructional camps and Florida baseball clinics. Visit us in beautiful Fort Myers, Florida for a baseball camp or prospect event and show us your skills!

Our Florida baseball camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Our baseball camps and prospect events in Fort Myers, Florida are a great oppotunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at FGCU and are open to any and all entrants!

The FGCU Baseball coaching staff and 2019 ASUN Coach of the Year Dave Tollett invite you to join us this winter for an exciting 2 days of baseball. If you have the desire to open college doors by improving your game, exposing your skills, understanding your recruiting process then this Eagle Showcase event is important for your future. We have over 20 COLLEGE COACHES that will be here to EVALUATE YOU!  Not only is this Showcase a great way to get evaluated and identified but its a great tune up for your spring 2020 season. We will provide skill sessions to help improve your game and you will get a good look at the FGCU campus and baseball facilities.

 

EAGLES IN THE MLB: All FGCU Big Leaguers were recruited and developed during head coach Dave Tollett's regime - Chris Sale (Boston Red Sox), Jake Noll (Washington Nationals), Richard Bleier (Baltimore Orioles), Jacob Barnes (Milwaukee Brewers).

 

Registration

Saturday Dec 7 (At FGCU/Swanson Stadium) Times will depend on the campers team and position. Saturday is a Bullpen, Offensive/Defensive evaluation and instructional day. Campers will report at different times throughout the day. The early registration time begins at 6:45AM. The next registration times will be 8:30AM, 10:30AM, 12:15PM, 1:15PM. We will inform the campers their time to report well before the camp starts.

 

Sunday Dec 8 at the 5-Plex- Cages will open at 8:00AM. Recruiting Lecture 8:20AM (for players and parents). Games begin at 9:00AM. Last games of the day will end approximately 3-4pm.

 

Cost

$299.00 before October 15th

$330.00 after October 15th

 

Player Evaluations:  For an additional $20.00 -  Assistant Coach Steve McKee will provide a detailed player evaluation for any campers interested in getting one. Please contact our baseball office before the start of camp at 239-590-7059 if you are interested in getting the detailed Evaluation.

What to bring

Each Player must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, running shoes/turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.

Description 

This Eagle Baseball Santas Helper Fun Camp is intended for any and all participants in the grades K-8.  This is our FGCU baseball family THANK YOU to you! We want to give your family a chance to Holiday shop, have date night, go to a holiday party, whatever it is you need to do We will play all kinds of games baseball, wiffle ball, kickball, super pickle, 4 bases and more with your sons and/or daughters. This fun camp will be for boys and girls. Camp will begin at 5:00pm and end at 10:00pm. However, you can pick up your campers whenever you would like. If we are forced inside due to weather, we will have fun games to play. We will keep you updated via our Camp Twitter page @CampsFGCU

Registration: 4:30pm-5:00pm (Friday December 13th)

Ends: 10:00pm ... Friday December 13th or whenever you want to pick your camper up.

 

Equipment:

Campers can bring whatever they want. All you will need are shoes, hat, glove and bat. We will be having all kinds of activities for the campers.

 

Spectators Attendance: 

Parents, families and friends are welcome to watch but part of the reason for having this Fun Day Camp is to give Parents/Family/Friends an opportunity to have some free time during the busy Holiday season.

The campus is serviced by I-75 and is just east of the highway between exits 123 from the south and 128 from the north.

 

From south: Exit 123 - turn right (east) onto Corkscrew Road. Go mile and turn left onto Ben Hill Griffith Road. Go 2 miles to the stop light and turn right into campus.

From north: Exit 128 - turn left (east) onto Alico Road. Go mile and turn right onto Ben Hill Griffith Road. Go 2 miles to stop light and turn left into campus.

Once on campus turn left at the first stop sign. Go mile and turn left at the next stop sign. Go 1-block and turn right at the next stop sign. Road end at Alico Arena and Swanson Stadium

 

Meals

There will be no meals at camp but we can store snacks for your campers in our lockeroom.

Eagle Baseball New Years Camp

Description 

This Eagle Baseball New Years Camp is intended for any and all participants in the grades K-8.  The participants will be instructed in four phases of the game: Hitting, Pitching, Catching, and Fielding. Campers will also enjoy games that will be played during the camp. This camp is designed for kids to learn the game as well as develop their skills.  We educate our campers on a variety of topics covered by our coaching staff. Camp will begin at 9:00am and end at 12:30pm. Please be ready to SIGN IN your camper(s) at the beginning of each day and SIGN OUT your camper(s) at the end of each day. If we are forced inside due to weather, we have baseball topics to present in a classroom discussion. We have the indoor facilities to fit 100+ campers. Registration: 8:00am (Thursday January 2nd 2020)

Starts: 9:00am (Thursday January 2ndand Friday January 3rd)

Ends: 12:30pm (Thursday January 2nd and Friday January 3rd)

Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided if needed. Bring cooler to keep snacks cool. We will have a Lost and Found (located in lockeroom) for anything we see left behind.

 

Spectators Attendance: 

Parents, families and friends are welcome to watch the daily activities in the stands or down the fence lines. Observers may not enter the field or cage area at any time. Feel free to ask the coaches questions.

 

Check-in

Please check in between 8:00am-9:00am in front of the stadium on January 2nd.

 

Check-out: Next to the 1B dugout. Please SIGN checkout form when signing out campers. Please email Coach Reid if you will have someone else signing out your son.
