Ducks 2013 Summer Prospect Camp

Camp Description

 

The University of Oregon Baseball Program will host its Summer 2013 High School Prospect Camp at P.K. Park and the recently completed Player Development Facility adjacent to PK.

The camp is designed to provide players with both instruction and competitive game environments. This is an ideal opportunity for each participant to be evaluated in front of the entire UO baseball staff at one of the finest facilities in the country.

Players may choose from either the overnight or commuter camper option. All campers will receive a confirmation email and an email with specific instructions as the camp draws closer.

General Information

 

Equipment:
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.

Please check your email regularly as this is the primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp.

Camp Check-in

 

Resident campers will check in @ 2:30 p.m. Aug. 1. Evaluations for all campers will begin that evening, Thurs., Aug. 1 @ 5 p.m.

On the last day the camp runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

From the North
Take Interstate 5 south to Eugene, Or. and turn onto the I-105 Westbound exit (exit 194b). Follow I-105 approximatetely one mile to the first exit (Coburg Rd). Go straight through the stop light (steering slightly to the left) and turn left at the next stop light (Country Club Road). Turn right at the second stop light (Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.) and Autzen Stadium, the Casanova Center, and the Moshofsky Sports Center are located less than a half mile on the righthand side of the street.

From the South

Meals

 

Commuters please bring a sack lunch. Lunch is provided for resident-dorm campers only.
