Duke Baseball Hitting Camp
Location: Jack Coombs Field-Duke University
Sunday, December 15, 2013
Starts: 9:00am / Ends: 4:00pm
Camp Cost: $125.00
This specialized camp is for hitters who are serious about their future in baseball. Campers will go through eight sessions of intense training during the clinic day. A routine is established for the camper that focuses on specific hitting aspects needed for success in high school, college, and professional baseball.
Each camper will be working with top collegiate coaches from Duke, current Blue Devil players, and others.
Each area of the hitting clinic will be tailored to specific age groups; focusing on in-depth review of each camper's individual mechanics. Video analysis will be used with each player to determine specific drills and workout routines that best fit that player's development. Roster size for the pitcher-catcher-hitter academy is extremely limited so that each camper receives a maximum amount of individual attention.
Note:Add the Duke Pitcher-Catcher Academy and save $60.00! Check the appropriate box on the registration page.
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.
Enrollment is limited to ensure personal attention in each and every aspect of the game, so sign up now!
We hire other college/high school coaches to work our camps in addition to our Duke Coaches. Other coaches that have worked previous camps have come from the following schools: Columbia, Harvard, Bucknell, Swarthmore, Davidson, UNCW, Gardner-Webb, Milligan, E. Tennessee St, Bard, Catawba, Pfeiffer, and Belmont Abbey.
