USF Thanksgiving Prospect Camp
2014-2017 Grads ... Open to Any and All Participants
Location: Benedetti Diamond- San Francisco, CA
Friday, November 29, 2013 to Saturday, November 30, 2013
Camp Cost: $250.00
The camp will begin with a unique experience not usually seen at a prospect camp.
Friday November 29th from 5:30-6:30pm, prospects and their families will have an opportunity to interact with current players and staff at our Opening Ceremony. We will cover the showcase itinerary, what it means to be a Don, and answer any questions you might have about the program. Our goal is to get to know you and for you to get to know us on a personal level before ever stepping out on the diamond.
Saturday morning: It's on. From 9am-5pm players will go through "A day in the life" experience here at USF. The same drills, warm ups, and techniques used to develop our players will be taught to each and every prospect.
The morning session will be broken up into groups based on your position. Position players will be taken through drills to work on their ability to hit, catch, run and throw. Pitchers will head to the bullpen to cover arm care techniques and conditioning, mechanics, holding runners, and fielding their position.
In the afternoon session prospects will showcase their skills in 2 7-inning games. While two teams are playing, the others will meet with our strength and conditioning staff. The teams will switch at the conclusion of the first game.
At the University of San Francisco, it's about more than what happens between the lines of a baseball field. Our Thanksgiving Prospect Baseball Camp will help us develop your skills and insights as a baseball player, but also as a young man.
1 night of personal interaction with our players and staff

All camp participants attending activities at Benedetti Diamond should be dropped off and pick up in the surface parking lot off Golden Gate Ave between Hayes Healy and Memorial Gym. Campers should not be dropped off or picked up anywhere on Golden Gate Ave, as per University policy.
Prospects should bring a sack lunch or money for purchasing lunch in the USF cafeteria. Snacks will be provided.
Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.
USF Baseball merchandise will be available for purchase at this event.
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers. We do however offer "cancellation protection". This cancellation protection gives participants some peace of mind in case plans change. Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to check-in. If you cancel within 14 days of check-in, we offer camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from the camp date and can be used at any of our future camps in that time frame. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
