Danes Baseball Academy is proud to offer a variety of baseball camps and clinics throughout the year. All events are staffed by University at Albany Coaches, Current Players and College Coaches from around the northeast. All camps include an instructional component, a showcase and in certain camps a live game. Each camp is designed to improve your skill and to provide drills that will allow you to continue to improve even after your camp experience is over. In addition to Varsity Field, we have our indoor facilities, including a gym with batting cages and indoor mounds, and a bubble facility, big enough for a full infield.
Our baseball camps and prospect events in Albany are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Please note camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by number, gender, age and grade level. Group rates are available for all camps. The University at Albany Baseball Coaching Staff would like to invite you to our annual Junior Danes Youth Summer Camp. This camp is for all skill levels- beginner to advanced our staff is experienced with all. This will be a full day camp; to maximize the experience we will be throwing in games, contests, and recreation activities throughout the day to keep things fresh and fun! We hope you can join us!

Our summer instructional prospect camp features an instructional period, a full showcase and a simulated game in the afternoon. We will begin with a position breakdown for skill instruction. After the instructional segment we will move onto the showcase. This will include full INF/OF, catcher pops, and full batting practice. In the afternoon we will have a simulated game. Pitcher onlys will throw two innings while dual players will throw one. Position players will receive a minimum of three at bats and three innings in the field.
