Monte Lee Baseball Camps at Clemson University

Monte Lee Baseball Camps at Clemson University are designed to help improve the performance of baseball players of all ages and skill levels. Campers will receive instruction from some of the top coaches in the country who care about the betterment of each individual player.

Monte Lee Baseball Camps are dedicated to the development and growth of all campers who attend. Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Description

The winter specialty skills prospect camp at Clemson is an intense two day baseball skills camp designed for any serious baseball player to improve, teach, and develop skills in the game of baseball. More in depth instruction on fundamentals, drills, and skills, and techniques needed to advance to the next level. Skills will be taught in all positions including infield, outfield, catching and pitching. Each defensive specialty position, including pitching, will include hitting instruction as well.

Coaching Staff

The winter Skills camp staff will consist of the Clemson Baseball Coaching staff along with other well-known professional and college coaches from DII, DIII, and Junior College coaches. NCAA rules do not allow outside DI coaches to attend during this camps dates.

 

Check-in 

The camp check-in time will be from 8:00-8:45am on Saturday, December 8th at Tiger Field. Camp Starts at 9:00am on December 8th, 2018. Camp ends at Tiger Field at 4:00pm on Sunday, December 9th, 2018. Camp will end approximately around 4pm each day.

 

Waiver Information

Medical forms/Waivers through the registration website. Please download, complete, and print the medical paperwork to bring with you to registration. If you have had a sports physical within 1 year of the date of camp, you may attach a copy of it to the waiver. If you attach a copy of a previous physical, please still bring the medical form/waiver but having a physician sign the medical form is not necessary.

Directions from I-85
Take I-85 to exit #19B. Exit toward Clemson. Follow Hwy 76/28 West for about 12 miles. Nearing the Clemson campus turn left on to Perimeter Road. Follow for approximately 2 miles, and right near the football stadium, and basketball facility you will see Doug Kingsmore Stadium (Home of the Clemson Baseball Tigers).

 

Meals

Meals will not be provided. Please bring lunch from home. We will take an hour break so players will have time to go to local restaurants if needed.

 

Accommodations

This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.

Cancellation Policy
All camps are non-refundable. Only camp credits will be given except in unforeseen circumstances, such as injuries or other unique situations. Please send your cancellation requests directly to the camp administrator, Brad Owens at owens4@clemson.edu. Your request must be sent 5 days prior to the start of camp to receive a future camp credit.

 

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp.
