Jordan Bischel was introduced on Thursday as Central Michigan's baseball coach, and he told a story of his days at Division III St. Norbert College in Wisconsin. Below you’ll find our school’s Division I college baseball camps, baseball showcases and instructional camps and clinics. Visit us in Mt. Pleasant, MI for a baseball camp or showcase and show us your skills!

Our baseball camps and showcases in Mount Pleasant are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at CMU.

Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Description

This camp will consist of instruction and multiple drills on offensive & defensive skills along with base running instruction & techniques. Campers will learn from CMU coaches and players about what a day in the life of a CMU baseball players looks like at practice and off the field as well.

 

Items to Bring

Tennis shoes, glove, bat, batting helmet, baseball pants, catching gear (if applicable)

 

Check In

Registration will be 30 mins prior to start time at the front of Theunissen Stadium

 

Directions

Camp will be conducted at: Theunissen Stadium located on West Campus Drive, just southwest of CMU's athletic facilities

  

Meals

No meals will be provided

 

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp? We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

 

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

7 Sundays of Offensive Skills & Development Camp

Ages: Grades 4th-12th

Description

This camp will consist of seven Sundays of offensive instruction, drills, and competitions to develop offensively in preparation for the upcoming spring season. This will be led by the CMU coaching staff along with current CMU players with different players working every date.

 

This camp will be held from 5:00-6:30 or 6:30-8:00 on the following Sundays:

12/9/18         12/16/18         1/6/19             1/13/19

1/20/19         1/27/19           2/3/19

 

The week prior to camp beginning, we will send an email out regarding which time each camper is assigned to (these will be based on age).

 

Items to Bring

  • Baseball or other athletic clothing
  • Baseball bat and batting gloves
  • Baseball glove 
  • Helmet if you have one
  • Baseball Cap
  • Cleats and tennis shoes
