Senior Moment for Greenman, Chippewa

 

Greenman hit a three-run walk-off home run to cap a four-run ninth inning Friday as the Central Michigan baseball team came from behind for a dramatic 8-6 Mid-American Conference victory over Ball State at Theunissen Stadium. The win evened the series at a game apiece and it gave the Chippewas the outright MAC West title. Below you’ll find our school’s Division I college baseball camps, baseball showcases and instructional camps and clinics. Visit us in Mt. Pleasant, MI for a baseball camp or showcase and show us your skills!

Our baseball camps and showcases in Mount Pleasant are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at CMU.

Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Description

The Central Michigan University presents "The Complete, Comprehensive Chippewa Camp in Mt. Pleasant, MI.  This is offered to players in grades 8-12 that want to excel to the next level of hitting, prepare for the spring season, and showcase their abilities to division 1 coaches.  This camp will be held at the indoor batting facilities on the college campus. You will have the opportunity to meet and learn from the Chippewas college baseball staff.  There is no better time to get ready for the spring season. This is a great opportunity to train at a college baseball facility and to meet and learn from the Central Michigan Baseball Coaching staff.  The camp is an accelerated combination of Pitching/Catching/Hitting and advanced instruction of all positions.

 

Equipment
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, helmet, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

 

Facility
Camp will be conducted at the Central Michigan University-Indoor Athletic Complex (IAC) Located just NW of the football stadium.  The complex features a 100-yard Field Turf bay with eight batting cages, 5 indoor pitching mounds, a 200-meter track bay and a 7,500 square-foot strength and conditioning center. The IAC is located next to the Kelly-Shorts Football Stadium.

 

Camps are open to any and all entrants.

Please park in Lot 63 indicated by the red star. You can access Lot 63 from West Campus Drive, it is just south of the Football Stadium.

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp? 
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

 

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

Pleasant, MI.  This is offered to players in grades 3-7 that want to excel to the next level of their game and be ready for the spring season. This camp will be held at the indoor batting facilities on the college campus. You will have the opportunity to meet and learn from the Chippewas college baseball staff.  There is no better time to get ready for the spring season. This is a great opportunity to train at a college baseball facility and to meet and learn from the Central Michigan Baseball Coaching staff.  The camp is an accelerated combination of Pitching/Catching/Hitting and detailed instruction of all positions.

* 5 learning stations: pitching, infield/outfield, catching, batting, hitting machines
* Base running and bunting instruction
* 8 batting cages (if you have a bat, please bring it to the camp)
