Senior Moment for Greenman, Chippewa

 

Greenman hit a three-run walk-off home run to cap a four-run ninth inning Friday as the Central Michigan baseball team came from behind for a dramatic 8-6 Mid-American Conference victory over Ball State at Theunissen Stadium. The win evened the series at a game apiece and it gave the Chippewas the outright MAC West title. Our baseball camps and showcases in Mount Pleasant are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at CMU.

Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Description

The Last Chance Showcase is a perfect opportunity for 2018 Graduates and junior college players who still have not found a school to play at for the upcoming school year.  Every year there are players that "slip through the cracks" and that is what this showcase is designed for. Players will participate in a showcase style event that will track the player's 60y dash times, arm strength velocity, pop times, bat exit velocity, pitcher's arm strength, etc.

We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. The Central Michigan University presents The Chippewa Summer Grand Slam Camp at CMU in Mt. Pleasant, MI. This baseball camp is offered to 13-19 year olds that want to excel to the next level of their game. This camp will be held at Theunissen Stadium.

 

Camp Features: Basic skills and comprehensive system, repetitive drilling, optional individual tournament.

 

This is a great opportunity to train at a college baseball facility and to meet and learn from the Central Michigan Baseball Coaching staff.

The P2 Camp is an opportunity for baseball players 13-18 to join with other athletes in controlled and competitive scrimmages and events. This camp will take place at both Theunissen Stadium and other local baseball complexes. Transportation between fields is not provided.

 

In addition to learning from an expert coaching staff, your camp experience will include working out in top quality facilities. Camps take place at Theunissen Stadium - a $5 million stadium offering amenities similar to minor league baseball parks, - a full-size practice field next to Theunissen and the Indoor Athletic Complex - a facility with a 100-yard turf bay featuring eight batting cages and a 7,500-square-foot strength and conditioning center.
