Below you’ll find our school’s Junior College baseball camps, baseball showcases and instructional camps and clinics. Visit us in beautiful Midland Texas for a baseball camp or showcase and show us your skills!

Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time please check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

Our baseball camps and showcases in Midland Texas are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by our college staff here at Midland College.

Description

Professional Scouts will be on hand to teach you the latest in Hitting techniques during this one day camp at Christensen Stadium.  Instructors leading this camp will focus on preparing hitters to compete at a high level. Learn the basics of being a successful hitter with lessons on mechanics of the swing, hitting and bunting drills, developing a plan, and mental skills to take to each at bat. All of this while being evaluated by Professional Scouts. Don't miss this opportunity to be hand on with major league talent evaluators.

Professional Scout: Gerald Turner, Toronto Blue Jays
Professional Scout: Kyle Van Hook, Cleveland Indians

 

Players receive

-  1 day of elite professional instruction and evaluation
-  Opportunity to meet, learn & be evaluated by current pro scouts and college coaches
-  Invaluable experience for future baseball success

Equipment:

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, practice or game uniform and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.

Information & Medical Release Form will be attached to your e-mail confirmation. It is also available in this camp listing.  Please print fill out, sign and deliver this form to the registration check in on the first day of camp.

A Concession Stand will be available for players to purchase food.

 

Merchandise

Midland College Baseball merchandise will be available to purchase while at camp.

 

Accommodations

This is day camp only. No overnight option available.

 

Transportation

Airport pick up is NOT available for this session.

 

Miscellaneous

What if I have to cancel a camp? We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection".  We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid.  The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

 

Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be provided during camp. In the event of an emergency the EMS will be called.

Description

The Texas Pro Scouts Winter Camp is a one day clinic of comprehensive work that will give the player a head start for the coming season.  The Pitcher-Catcher & Defense (inf-of) Winter Clinic is filled with instruction, individual drills, group drills and informative sessions on the best approach to pitching, catching, infield and outfield play.  All of this while being evaluated by Professional Scouts. Don't miss this opportunity to be hand on with major league talent evaluators.

 

There will be 3 MLB teams represented:

Area scouts from the Toronto Blue Jays, Cleveland Indians, and New York Yankees.

Also, there will be a a handful of 4-Year Universities in attendance.
