Rob Macrory
Coach Macrory is a Montgomery, AL native and a 1993 graduate of Jefferson Davis High School where he led the Volunteers to the 1993 6A state championship and garnered All-Metro Player of the Year honors. He then went on to letter 4 seasons at Auburn University, playing on two College World Series teams as a second baseman and hitter with dynamic offensive capabilities. Macrory was drafted in 1997 by the St. Louis Cardinals and played 4 seasons in the Cardinals’ organization before an injury ended his career. He served as an assistant coach at Auburn University in 2001-02, and has been coaching hitters in Montgomery for the last 8 years. Macrory and his wife Vivi reside in Pike Road, and have two sons, Preston (7), and Hutson (4).

Jeff Crane
Coach Crane is a Montgomery, AL native and a 1988 graduate of Jefferson Davis High School where he helped lead the Volunteers to the 1987 6A state championship, earning All-Metro honors in 1987-88. After playing one season at Cleveland State Community College, he went on to the University of Alabama where he was part of a regional team in 1991 and earned All-SEC Academic Team honors in 1993. Crane began his coaching career as a graduate assistant coach at Alabama in 1994, then went on to coach at the University of Alabama-Huntsville from 1995-2000. He then spent 6 years as an area scout for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim before returning to coaching at Troy University from 2006-2010. Crane has coached over 25 players who have signed professional contracts, and signed 14 players as a major league scout. Crane and his wife Shannon reside in Montgomery, and have one son, Jack (3), and a daughter, Ava (1).
