Former Husky Pitcher Tim Lincecum...

Was the first Husky ever taken in the first round of the Major League draft when selected by San Francisco with the 10th pick in 2006. Tim finished his UW career as the Huskies single-season record holder for wins (12) and strikeouts (199). He also holds career records for wins (30), starts (51), innings (342.0), walks (216) and strikeouts (491), and owns the Pac-10 record for career strikeouts (491). UW FAQs
Q. Who can participate in WBS camps?
A. All camps & clinics are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number (quantity), age, grade level, and/or gender.
Q. What role do Coach Meggs, his staff, and any former and current UW Baseball players play in daily camp activities?
A. Coach Meggs is very involved in the camp and, with rare exceptions, speaks to the camp at least once a day as well has making himself available several times throughout the week to meet campers and their families and sign autographs. The rest of the current UW coaching staff is around the camp daily, as well, and the assistants conduct lectures for the camp, often incorporating drills with current UW players in those lectures. Former and current players also speak to the camp and sign autographs when available. We always have former and current players around camp but, because of their busy and sometimes unpredictable schedules, are unable to announce in advance which players will be there in which sessions.
