Elite Academic Baseball Camp at Brown University

The Elite Academic Baseball Camp at Brown University is proud to offer a can't-miss opportunity for the player looking to take their game to the next level.
Top-level instruction is provided from the coaches of Brown University, as well as current players and alumni and other collegiate coaches. The demonstrated skills and instruction will allow each player to continue to develop long after the conclusion of camp.
The Elite Academic Baseball Camp is designed to improve each camper's individual skill set, strengthen their concept of team baseball, and perform in a number of different settings for the collegiate coaches in attendance. The camp will consist of position specific drills, team practices, fundamental skill sessions, pro-style workouts, and game play. Each camper will play at least four games during camp- playing time at a camper's primary position is guaranteed, while playing time at a secondary position depends on the positional breakdowns within the camp. Other topics pertaining to collegiate baseball which will be covered include but are not limited to strength & conditioning, speed work, nutrition and the mental game.

In addition the Brown University coaching staff, Academic schools from all over the Northeast, as well as the country, have previously been in attendance at the Elite Academic Camp on Brown's campus. Some of the schools who have worked in past years range from Division I to Division III and include but are not limited to: Yale, Columbia, Cornell, Holy Cross, Bryant, University of Rhode Island, University of New Haven, Vassar, Tufts University, Swarthmore College, MIT and Amherst College.
The Elite Academic Baseball Camp at Brown University is best suited for athletes competing at an elite or college prospect level and/or have aspirations to play baseball at the collegiate level. Registration is open to all current high school students.
Campers will utilize all of Brown's 57 acres of athletic facilities. Murray Stadium, Brown's on-campus baseball field, will serve as the primary camp site. Campers will also use auxilary fields, indoor facilities, turf fields, and strength and conditioning facilities.
Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment. Helmets will be provided for all campers.
Required equipment includes a glove, cleats/spikes, running shoes/turf shoes, and a baseball hat.
Recommended equipment includes a bat and baseball clothing (baseball pants, socks, belt).
Catchers must bring their own gear.
Water and ice will be available to campers at all times and a certified athletic trainer will be on-site throughout the camp.
Commuting campers will receive lunch each camp day and can purchase additional meals upon request. Residential campers will be served three meals daily, including several in Brown's Dining Halls.
Check-in - July 18th 1:00 PM.
Check-out - July 21st 1:00 PM.
Camp will begin on July 19th and 20th promptly at 8:30 AM.
