For the first time, Boston College advanced to a Super Regional since the expansion to 64 teams.
In the previous format, the Eagles won Districts four times to move onto the College World Series, the last time in 1967.

Birdball Baseball Camps at Boston College
Birdball Baseball Camps and Clinics provide a chance to work on skills and learn techniques from the entire Boston College Baseball coaching staff as well as other top college coaches from the New England and east coast region as well as current and professional players.
Through a series of daily drills that mirror the same drills implemented in BC program, each camper will be instructed as though they were an Eagle themselves. The coaching staff will be stressing the importance of fundamentals while playing in a fast paced environment. Our clinic is centered on teaching and instructing each and every one of our campers to help them reach their full potential as a baseball player.

During the clinic players will receive instruction from each of the college coaches in attendance. Infielders will work on fundamental skills and move to a full ninety foot diamond workout. As the clinic progresses each player will have a chance to move around the infield and work with different college coaches. The coaches will work though a progression of drills touching on all the fundamentals of infield play. Catchers will work with a college coach to cover all the important skills needed to catch at a higher level. The catchers will do drill work, throw to bases and receive instruction while catching both during drills but during the game as well. Outfielders will run through a series of drills. The outfield station will instruct each player on the proper throwing mechanic from the outfield as well as the fundamentals of fielding groundballs and fly balls.
Pitching instruction will be offered during the clinic. Pitchers will be take part in a progression of pitching drills that include, but not limited to, pitcher's fielding practice, arm care, pre-game and post- game pitching routines and flat ground work. Each player will have a chance to pitch in a formatted game while receiving instruction from a college coach. Primarily pitches will throw two (2) innings and paid secondary pitches will throw one (1) inning.
*** It is paramount to us that we focus on the health of the pitchers arms. Each pitcher will work with the BC staff as to where they are in their pitching schedule and innings will be adjusted in needed. ***

Boston College Prospect Winter Clinic

Description
The Boston College Baseball Holiday Clinic offers a very unique opportunity for players to continue to improve their skills during the winter months using our state of the art facility known as "The Bubble." Covering the entire football playing surface at Alumni Stadium, "The Bubble" allows a player to take advantage of over 120 yards of open space, including four full-length batting cages as well as space to set up two regulation size baseball diamonds. While the bubble is suitable to allow teams to scrimmage, this is an instructional based clinic so no games will take place.
This clinic will give players the chance to work with not only the Boston College baseball staff, but many of the top college coaches from the northeast. Each station is led by a college baseball coach with a current or former Boston College baseball player to assist in teaching.
It is a four night clinic but we understand that schedules do not always allow that to work. We encourage kids to attend at least two nights if possible. Players that attend all four nights will work though a four night progression at their desired position(s) as well as having the chance to work with and be seen by over 35 college coaches from the north east.
Pitchers and Catchers Clinic: December 27th- 30th, 2017- 3:30PM-6:00PM
Pitching instruction will be offered each session and pitchers will be take part in a progression of pitching drills that include but not limited to pitcher fielding practice, arm care, pre-game and post- game pitching routines and flat ground work. It is paramount to us that we focus on the health of the pitchers arms. Each player will have a chance to a light throw a bullpen with a college coach instructing. Pitchers do not throw to hitters.
Catchers will work with a college coach to cover all the important skills needed to catch at a higher level. Each night catchers will do drill work, throw to bases and receive instruction while catching in the bullpen sessions. Each night the catchers will also take part in the offensive rotations.
**Two way Players**: Two way players have the options to take part in both the Pitching Clinic as well the Infield and Outfield Clinic at an addition cost. There is no additional charge if a player wishes to work out at 2nd defensive position that is not pitching. If a player wishes to workout at a different position we encourage that they attend multiple sessions. This will insure that each player works through the entire position progress for that session.
Infield and Outfield Clinic: December 27th- 30th, 2017- 5:30PM-9:15PM
Position players will work out through a series of both offensive and defensives stations focusing on different skills at each.
Infielders will work on fundamental skills each night and move to a full ninety foot diamond workout. As the clinic progresses each player will have a chance to move around the infield and work with different college coaches. The coaches will work though a progression of drills touching on all the fundamentals of infield play. If a player wishes to work out a more than one position that option is available.
Outfielders will run through a series of drills each night. The outfield station will instruct each player on the proper throwing mechanic from the outfield as well as the fundamentals of fielding ground balls and fly balls.

Camp Extras
What to bring: Although the "Bubble" is heated, the temperature can range, we do recommend that all players wear long pants of some type and a long athletic sleeved shirt. We will provide a shirt for each camper but they are short sleeve. Baseball pants are not necessary. Each camper should provide their own bat (wood or BBCOR) and catchers gear (if necessary). All other equipment including helmets will be provided. Players are NOT permitted to wear metal baseball cleats of any kind on the turf. Rubber soul baseball turfs, modeled rubber cleats and other athletic footwear are permitted.
**Please note by NCAA rule the only Division 1 school that can attend an on-campus camp is the host school (Boston College). All the coaches in attendance will be from Division 2 & 3 schools.

Boston College Spring Training Prospect Clinic

Description
The Boston College Baseball Spring Training Clinic offers a very unique opportunity for players to continue to improve their skills during the winter months using our state of the art facility known as "The Bubble." Covering the entire football playing surface at Alumni Stadium, "The Bubble" allows a player to take advantage of over 120 yards of open space, including four full-length batting cages as well as space to set up two regulation size baseball diamonds. While the bubble is suitable to allow teams to scrimmage, this is an instructional based clinic so no games will take place.
This clinic will give players the chance to work with not only the Boston College baseball staff, but many of the top college coaches from the northeast. Each station is led by a college baseball coach with a current or former Boston College baseball player to assist in teaching.
Cost: $125.00
**For players wishing to do the pitching session AND positional camp: Two-way option fee add on price ... $50.00.**

Pitchers & Catchers ....... 4:00pm-6:30pm
Infielders & Outfielders ... 6:00pm-9:45pm

What to bring: Although the "Bubble" is heated, the temperature can range, we do recommend that all players wear long pants of some type and a long athletic sleeved shirt. We will provide a shirt for each camper but they are short sleeve. Baseball pants are not necessary. Each camper should provide their own bat (wood or BBCOR) and catchers gear (if necessary). All other equipment including helmets will be provided. Players are NOT permitted to wear metal baseball cleats of any kind on the turf. Rubber soul baseball turfs, modeled rubber cleats and other athletic footwear are permitted.
**Please note by NCAA rule the only Division 1 school that can attend an on-campus camp is the host school (Boston College). All the coaches in attendance will be from Division 2 & 3 schools.

The Bubble is the finest indoor baseball facility in the Northeast. It covers the entire football field in Alumni Stadium and allows our players and campers to continue to develop their skills throughout the cold New England winter. Inside, there are four batting cages and room for two regulation-size diamonds, as well as a bullpen and skill development area. Campers will have the chance to take on field batting practice during the clinic

Since 2007, Boston College has been a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), one of the top baseball conferences in the nation. Boston College Baseball Clinics provide a chance to work on skills and learn techniques from the entire Boston College Baseball coaching staff as well as other top college coaches from the New England and east coast region. The coaching staff will be stressing the importance of fundamentals while playing in a fast paced environment. Our clinic is centered on teaching and instructing each and every one of our campers to help them reach their full potential as a baseball player.
