The Akron Baseball Academy gives young players an opportunity to work with the Zips staff on campus at the University of Akron. The staff is lead by MLB All-Star and World Series Champion Chris Sabo along with Associate Head Coach Jordon Banfield and Pitching Coach Dan McKinney. Our staff prides itself of providing a great experience to all of our campers and running our camps with the same attention to detail as our team practices. 2020-2023 Graduates and JuCo Players | Starts: 2:00pm / Ends: 6:00pm
The University of Akron Prospect Camp is open for all players who will be graduating from high school in 2020-2023 as well as JuCo players. Head Coach Chris Sabo and his coaching staff are inviting all interested participants to partake in the Fall Prospect Camp. This camp is designed to provide instruction on specific aspects of the game, while also giving you the opportunity to display your skills at the position of your choice for our coaching staff. It is the perfect time for our coaches to see each players skills in a practice and game setting before the recruiting begins. This camp is designed to give advanced baseball players a chance to showcase their talents to the Akron Baseball Staff.
Times: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Check-in will take place 30 minutes prior to the starting time of each camp session.

This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
