Description

The Yellow Jackets Winter Baseball Camp is designed to offer kids the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming baseball tryouts and receive college -level instruction.  A two day morning camp, encompassing all facets of the game.

Each day will start out with a pre-practice running session which will serve as a warm-up and improve the players' speed and agility.  Then they will transition into "catch play," where the proper catching and throwing techniques are emphasized.

The remainder of the day will be broken down into defensive and offensive portions. All campers will be given instruction on fielding ground balls and fly balls, and will also be given the opportunity to spend time at individual positions. In the offensive portion of instruction, the swing will be broken down into its five parts and situational hitting will be explored.

Throughout the morning, campers will receive continual feedback from AIC players and coaches. They will compete in multiple games and contests. The environment will be competitive, yet fun-filled. This is a great opportunity to give your child the chance to learn and prepare for upcoming tryouts!
